Does anyone know, or know how I can find out, which buildings are non-smoking? Also, any suggestions for buildings which are "out of the way" and quiet, doesn't need to be close to a bus stop. DH doesn't share my and DS's enthusiasm for WDW and spends a lot of time "at home". TIA, Michele

Here is a listing of the <a href="http://disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=146435">buildings at OKW.</a>

I'd just list your preferences in order or importance (non-smoking, upper/lower floor, water/golf/woods view) and let the resort place you as close as possible to those options.

You really limit your likelyhood of getting your preference if you list building 62- room 6224-6228 as your request.

Good Luck!

HI there! We just spent 4 nights at OKW in #56 and it was wonderful. The building is at the end of a little cul-de-sac, off the main route, so it's quiet (no buses and only local traffic). Our little balcony looked back at the quiet pool and playground. I believe this is a rarely-requested area because it is not "close to" anything -- but that's why we liked it! It must be a non-smoling building because we are non-smokers :)

Have fun!:)

Bldg #64!!! We are just back from a 10 day trip @ OKW staying in bldg 64 It was a non smoking bldg. Also has an elevator so if your on the 3rd floor No problem with the baggage. Close to the main pool and the Hospitality House. Great view of the 7th hole! Only drawback is that the bus stops @ Hospitality House last.

A vote for building #37. Quiet enough even for DH, a light sleeper. No buses going by building, bus turn around is just up from it a little. Beautiful view of golf course.

I vote for buildings 53,54,55,56 at South Point. Another quiet area is buildings 21 and 22. These also have a great golf view.

OKW is very spread out. Many of the buildings are out of the way and off the main road. If you don't get your 1st request, don't worry, plenty of non-smoking, quiet rooms. Only draw back is it may be a walk to the bus. I am a light sleeper, and never had a problem.

Check out building 21. We had the nearest quiet pool to ourselves for the better part of a 10 day June stay!
