OKW, arriving Thanksgiving Day!

We are planning on arriving Thanksgiving Day of Nov. 2007 and will stay until 12/1. My question for those who've traveled this time of year, will it be difficult to get a decent room as long as we arrive early (10:30ish) on Thanksgiving Day? Or will it still be crowded as that is not a huge travel day and the holiday?

We're going no matter what, but I was hoping to be a little prepared if they were unable to meet our location requests (fully aware they are just requests). We were there last year the Saturday following Thanksgiving and we were able to get our room right away and it was perfectly located per our requests.

I still think it is the luck of the draw. I'm sure you will be fine and have a wonderful Thanksgiving at OKW.

We'll already be there! I think you will get whatever is available, and if you were able to book, there will be something available. We always "take what we get" at OKW, and have only been disappointed once, and that was because they put me in my least favorite building two trips in a row. When I found out the building, I asked if it was possible to be ANYTHING else, and was given a reservation in my favorite building without me even asking specifically for it!

We have decided NOT to do Disney Dining plan our Thanksgiving trip, because we felt restaurants will be tough to get ressies at during that time. We are cooking our own Thanksgiving dinner instead. SOOO...If you smell some good food smells coming from one of the 2 bedroom villas, it's us enjoying our holiday!
