OKW Around New Years (Next Year)

Hi all,

Just wondering what the OKW availability is around New Years. We're thinking of a quickie stay NYE 2012 into the first week of 2013. It's not our home resort so we'd be trying to book at the 7 month window and would like a standard studio. Any feedback would be great.

OKW is our home resort. When we booked Christmas and New Years at the 7 month window or later we always ended up on the waitlist for a few of our days. Fortunately the waitlists, for the most part, came through for us. However its not been without some anxiety and a few close calls. We take advantage of the 11 month window just to avoid the anxiety. In our case we book the standard studio. One & 2 BR were available but we preferred a standard studio.

We booked NYE and the week after at the 7 month mark, with no trouble. We actually own points at OKW, but decided on the trip last minute. We decided to add the night before NYE a couple of months later, also with no trouble. We booked a dedicated 2 bedroom, if that makes a difference.

Thanks a bunch, we'll definitely book at our home resort (SSR) at 11 months to be safe but would really prefer the two queens. I appreciate the responses.
