and are they capable of recording? I was wondering since I heard they have the Disney Channel at the resorts and wanted to know if I could dub some of the programming for the kids as a litte souvenir (or our own viewing)for later.
Thanks!

Not to get too technical, but ALL Video Cassette Recorders can record.
VCPs or Video Cassette Players do not record.
If there's a VCR in the room, you can record, as long as you bring a tape! :flower:

VWL had a VCP when I was there in March (did not record). Anyone know what BCV and SSR has?

1. I think fairly soon most of the VCRs will be replaced by DVD players.

2. If you have a VCR in the room, it will record. However, it depends on how the cable is hooked up to the TV. If the cable is plugged directly into the TV then the VCR is bypassed and you will have no input for the VCR to record. It may take a little technical effort to swap cables around in order to accomplish what you want to do.
