OKW and free dining.. but wait.. there is a catch

We are staying at OKW from Oct 10-17 that we are using an Interval International ( II) trade to do. We were going to buy the basic dining plan, but now I see that free dining has been extended into our dates and would like to know if we are eligible to participate since we are not staying on points or paying cash for the room.

You can only get free dining by paying cash for a package from CRO.

No.
Free dining is only available to those booking a package with Disney. The package is the room, at rack rate, plus park ticket. The park ticket can be a one day ticket, this works for those with AP's already.

Technically, you are staying on someone's points. A Member relinquished points to make some deposit into/exchange with II, and those points were used to book the unit that was given to II in return.
