How large is the utility room in a 2-br? I know the GV one is quite large and big ehough for an air matress, but is the one in a 2-br big enough?

Thanks!

:)Just returned last Sat. from a stay at OKW in a 2br and, yes, I believe you could get a twin air mattress in the laundry/utility room.

Twin size, maybe but it would be a situation where the mattress would take up all the floor space. The space right in front of the washer and dryer is a few inches wider than right in front of the hall door. That area is going to be about as wide as an average door probably about 32 inches. And you would have to deal with the doors, if you close them and put the mattress down the person might be stuck.

Here are some photos.

Awesome, thanks for the pics. Looks like an air matress might fit but would be tight, but I think a cot would fit just fine (we drive so would be able to bring one along.) Thanks!

Nothing says vacation like sleeping in the washroom! :thumbsup2

Well, it would be for our 9-yr old daughter, so as long as she doesn't have to share a room or bed with her 5-year old brother, she'll be happy.

I want to say that the "laundry room" is pretty much the same size in an OKW Gv as in an OKW 2 or 1 bedroom. As long as you have a standard twin rather than those 2 story huge blow up mattress, I think you'll be fine.

There is a ton of floor space which would accommodate a twin-size mattress or cot in the living area of the unit. Or maybe off to the side of the studio portion.

I would really really not put my child to sleep in the utility area. As mentioned, if it fit, it would be wedged in, plus that area feels very much like a utility area.

I believe it would probably work (twin sized only). We almost put a rented crib in our utility room a few years ago but DH was against it. It's not bad if you want a door, privacy, quiet, darkness, etc. We moved around the sleeper chair during our last stay and that worked nicely for us. Good luck. Nothing like a good night's sleep for all when you're at WDW.
