OKW 1 bdrm-Do they have laundry soap?

We will be there for 5 nights next month and I am sure i will have to do laundry probably once or twice. Is there laundry soap in there already or should I bring some laundry soap (tablet style)? If it is in there, how much is there? While I am thinking about it what about dishwashing detergent? Thanks so much!

They leave a box that does one load. I usually bring a small box that will do more..

There is enough laundry detergent for only one load. I always pack some dryer sheets and buy a small box of detergent when we arrive. There is a small bottle of dishwashing (liquid) detergent for hand washing and several packages of powder for the dishwasher. We have never needed more of either of them. They do replinsh them when they do trash and towel.

I'll admit, I stretched and used that box for 2 loads. Then on T&T day, they supplied me with another box. So it depends on how much wash you plan to do (maybe you'd rather "be prepared" and bring a couple tablets, just in case)

As I was reading the replies here, I was wondering if I was the only person who gets two loads of wash from that one box of laundry detergent . Other than that box of detergent, I put a mix of liquid detergent & liquid bleach in small plastic soda bottles to use while at DVC. I also bring dryer sheets.

I too get two loads from one box. I have experienced not receiving a box on TT day. Now I come prepared!

We mix dryer sheets in the suitcase pockets with socks and underwear then use the sheets when needed. Something I read in Heloise years ago.
