A pin is a discount that is specifically attached to your name. Some people get them through email and others get them from snail mail. It is a random process, or at least that is what most people say. It helps if you are registered on Disney sites and there are people who can tell you more info about how to try and get one. I have been to Disney the last 7 years and I have never gotten a pin code. However, the family we are going with this year got one for free quick service dining so we are using that in June!!! It saved my family of 4 about $720 on the trip! Some people have called and the codes have been attached to their name. There are many threads on the boards that give lots of info on the codes.
