I promise to make a firm decision after this. :)

This is for 1 night, Dec. 7, before heading to a camping trip at Fort Wilderness. We'll arrive in the early evening. We'll have dinner, entertain the kids for a while, maybe let them get some excited energy out, then go to bed. Next morning, some easy entertainment, then off to FW to check in.

I really want to stay at Poly, but can't justify the $$$ for not very much time at the resort. Plus, it's full.

So we're down to the final two. Please help me decide!

Saratoga Springs (could go to DTD evening, next morning, get it out of the way) for $189 a night

Coronado Springs for $123 a night.

Thanks for the help!

$189 for a SSR studio is a great price. We love SSR and that is one of our home resorts.(we are DVC'ers) But, for the amount of time you will be at the resort I would say save some money and stay at CSR. Remember in the SSR studio you will not have 2 beds. You will have 1 bed and a pull out couch. You could have a nice dinner at the restaurant at CSR, then let the kids swim.

Coronado Springs would be my choice. I wouldn't want to deal with a pull out sofa for kids. Don't know why but that doesn't appeal to me too much.

CSR is fantastic and a better value IMO. Have fun!!

To me, CSR just looks like a nicer resort than SSR. And if it's less expensive, that much the better.

That's a great price for CSR! $123!! I apologize for the PM the other day too. Have a great trip whichever you decide!

No problem Buzz. I just hate being in the middle of things, that's all.

I booked CSR. AAA had a great price we just couldn't pass up, and looking at the pics on your site really helped. We'll be getting there after dark, which will be lovely. I imagined a really lovely morning strolling the grounds on the way to breakfast. It will be a nice tropical contrast to the woodsy FW feel. It's funny, we NEVER would have stayed there if other resorts weren't full, but now I'm getting excited. I might not ever stay there for one of my longer trips (I'm a WL girl at heart) but I think we'll have a good time for the price and time we are spending there.

So Buzz, I'm going to have some questions for you before the day is out!

:)

Thanks everyone!

Meg

No problem, feel free to PM or e-mail me. I've stayed at FW too. We like it but didn't car for the pool or transportation but it was nice. Check out this FW FAQ site. http://home.hiwaay.net/~jlspence/faq_fw.htm
