Okay, so how wet am I going to get on Splash Mountain?

There is also a waterfall on the right side of the boat after the drop. This can get you mighty drenched if the boats are backed up, the wind blows just right, or if you drift over too far.

Left rear is best. A hooded sweatshirt will offer protection. The seats are sometimes wet, so you will probably have a wet butt no matter what!

I have been known to use my park map as protection. The ink may run though.

lemme phrase this up the best i could...i got my mom to go on splash mountain and she couldnt handle bumper boats or anything. it doesnt get u soaked really. and the only thing that can really screw you up is the waterfall. but if u feel more comfortable wearing the pancho, go for it. and demand compansation for the cracks the cm might make. like a voucher for something.

i've sat in the same spot (2nd row on the right) and have had totally different experiences. first time i was bone dry, and the second i got pretty wet (not soaked, but enough that i was squishy).
if you have to wear a poncho to get yourself on the ride, who cares! have you seen some of the stuff people wear to walk around the parks. at least you have an excuse.

I can completely understand where you are coming from because i am like that as well. I love splash mountain but hate getting wet and feeling miserable and disgusting after. My chosen spot is indeed in the last row on the left, it has helped me to keep the wetness down to a minimum. If you dont want to look like a dork by wearing a poncho (and yes ive done this) then a trick i like to do is roll up my pant legs, and sleeves, and extra shirt material thus protecting some of your clothes. And if i have already not pronounced myself a loser another thing i do if actually slump down in my seat as to not get wet, i slump down so far that i am not in the picture, so if you are wanting a pic then dont do this. hope any of this helped!

OK while I would never laugh at someone wearing a poncho on Splash Mountain, I saw one lady wearing one and more than a few people were laughing and snickering. If you want to wear a poncho, be warned
