Okay, Resort experts...I need to pick your brain...

I have a 2 week FD package booked at POP from 9/13-9/27. My dh wants to leave a day early. Is there a way to book just one day with a Florida Residents discount? We'll also be buying AP's once we get there. I tried to book online, but it says its unavailable. I know others have booked more than they need and then cancelled, but I really don't want to do that. They probably won't let me have overlaps anyway...So...is there a way to do it, or would I be better off staying at another hotel for that first night? Suggestions? Answers?
