Okay not sure what to do, closing not soon enough

Okay, here is my problem I will be going on vacation May 28 thru June 3, rented points from a DVC member, then I decided to go for it and got the word that Disney is letting me have the contact I bid on.....but here is my problem, don't think closing is going to be done soon enough to get the DVC discount on the AP....plus I have tickets for another trip Nov/Dec and would like to use my home but the 7 month window will be May 2nd.....so now I am stuck......

I would like to get the AP at the DVC cost and use it for the three trips planned, and would like to stay at my home resort at the end of the year..... want can I do or am I just stuck and will be paying out more money that could be used to get other points...or what ever.....time is running out

No way to get the DVC discount on the AP until you are a member and have a member number. So if you can't close and get in the system before May 28, you are out of luck. Sorry.

You might call your broker and see if you can pay for an expedited closing. You'll still need to be in the system (takes about a week after closing) to get the discount, but you could maybe make it in time.

Thanks CarolMN, I talked to the closing dept. they are waiting to hear from Disney for the correct amount of payoff....should have by next week, she said.... hoping I have enough time....so I can do the

seems that I am forever waiting....LOL and the MVMCP tickets are to go on sale too....can you get a discount on them too with your membership I need every break I can get

We passed ROFR 4/21. We paid for expedited closing, initially told we'd be getting documents this Friday, now I'm told to call next Tuesday or Friday. We also were hoping to book before the 7 month window @ VWL (for week of 12/04). Now we're resigned to missing it, just hope we'll get any Studio or 1 BR.
