When you see/meet a girl (woman) who is very pretty, and has a really good body, do you want to not like her right away? Do you pick her apart more than you would if you were to meet an average looking woman? Things like, oh she's too skinny, she's stuck up, and so on....(but she hasn't really even said anything yet)

If you do, why?

Andrea

I used to be like that. I learned several years ago that we all have our baggage and burdens to bear. I met a woman who I thought was one of the most beautiful women I had ever met. I envied her to be brutally honest. We became friends and I quickly learned that she had more baggage and horrible things happen in her life than had ever happened in mine. Her appearance was something she worked very hard on and took meticulous care with because she didnt WANT people to get that close to her to find out all these things. She wanted to put up a front so that she wasnt approachable.

Nope, not usually. It's the attitude I look at rather than the looks.

Okay, but do you just assume she has an attitude because she's pretty? Or do you talk to her for a while first and then decide?

I try to judge people by how they treat me and those around them. But I must admit that when someone who is really attractive (male or female) turns out to have a bad attitude, I tend to judge them more. Kinda like a "Who do they think they are?" sorta thing.

I do. But only if they are throwing their attitude my way. But that goes for any woman out there. Beautiful or Not.

For the most part, I try to support my fellow women.

Nope... attitude means tons more to me than looks. If I judged based off of beauty then I wouldn't have some of the friends I do.

When I was a teenager, yes I did.

But, now I don't:D Thank goodness for maturity

My two best friends are skinny with perfect bods and they're still my best friends!!!:D :bounce:

I do the exact same thing sis! I'll point out that I love how she has her hair, or that I wish I could look as good in a certain outfit as she does.

NIKKI!!!! Hey Sis!! good to see you around!!! :)
Now back to your regulary scheduled thread!! :) :)

I tend to go with the "she's too skinny", LOL. I admit it, I'm guilty. :p
I guess then if she ends up being a good person I kinda drop it.. my roommate and I thought that the woman who plays Laurey in Oklahoma was way too thin until she told me I was "just a regular cast member around here" and greeted me at the stage door every night.. now she doesn't look too thin anymore.
Ahh, I have to stop judging people like that when I first meet them.

Nice to read that people on this thread are open-minded:D :D . Usually the DIS strikes me as being pretty....CATTY!!!!!!!!!!

J.LO may be a "polecat", "slut", "pig", etc but on some level I feel that people ENVY her great body AND extraordinary talent AND money:) .....

:D :D :D

When I was in highschool lots of people thought I was stuck up, I wasn't, I was just a little shy.
I try very hard not to assume things about people or make judgements. Not that I always succeed.

Not at all! I honestly don't judge by appearance. The only drawback I could think of would be if the person was spending so much time fixing their hair or makeup they couldn't hang out and have fun.

No, I just get very jealous and wish I looked like them.

Actually, when I see an attractive woman, I usually look her over to see what I like about her clothes, hair, makeup, etc. so that I can copy it, lol!! Really, that is how I get a lot of fashion ideas, hairstyles, etc.:D
