Hello, everyone! And welcome to our newcomers!

I have a tremendous headache right now, but wanted to say something about "the one and only". I think it was Doc who said she believes there are more than one out there for you, just have to be in the right place....

I agree. There HAS to be more than one great match out there in the big wide world. Because if you look at the number of people and the liklihood of meeting that only one in the world person is 1 in a zillion zillion billion. (Or some such number.)

I also believe that good matches are made from respect and compromise, putting someone else before yourself. (Of course, putting that someone ahead of yourself AfTeR the wedding vows are made.)

Glad to hear Legs is back in her nest safe and sound, all illnesses have subsided and Doc, I'd be proud to look as good as you in that pic!

Always keeping good thoughts for all of you! (I'm gonna have to start writing names down....our list keeps growing!!)

Hey all, I am glad to hear that you also think that there is more than one person out there. Now if I could find one of them. Lately the only remotely interesting guy in my life lives in CA. Of course I am in Massachusetts so it's a bit of a distance, and really nothing is going on. He's just a cool guy I've known for almost four years. I'll keep looking for someone on this side of the country. Good news, my nails aren't dyed green anymore. yay! I've been doing a lot of jacket tailoring these days which is rather boring. I saw Nunsense this evening. It's a pretty funny show. Anyone catch the west wing tonight? I could use an update.

Brianna was suppose to go to her father's house for her first overnight visit, but that has now changed. She'll be with me. We'll go out to dinner and then come home. Nothing romatic happening.

I got dd6 a small gift and card. Not sure what else we'll do that day. I may go out that evening with a couple girlfriends to dinner and then a raunchy dueling piano bar. But, I hate to put dd6 with a sitter again since I was gone last weekend. Her dad had her with sitters when he was working. But it is tempting to go out and have some fun. I do not feel mopey or sad about Valentine's Day. It doesn't bother me, but that's why my girlfriends want to go out- they don't want to mope around at home. I think it would be worse to go out and see everyone with their dates.

Brianna was very sick over the weekend with strep, an ear infection and 103.9 temp, so he didn't see her. This past weekend was suppose to be their first long day visit (12-6) and their first overnight this weekend. He has never had her for more than an hour and she's only been to his house once and I was with her. I felt that he needed an extended amount of time with her before he has her overnights, b/c that's not going to be as easy for him as he expects it to be. So he's going to see her Sunday from 9-3 and I'll be going to Disney for some time. I haven't been to WDW without Brianna since she was born. It'll feel weird.

Well, worked way too late tonight, so I picked Brianna up late. Needed to stop at the store for food so ended up buying tv dinners. Then I did something that I felt really bad about, but didn't realize it until after I was done checking out. I went through the express line and I wrote out a check. After I was done, I saw the sign that said no checks. Oops.

I bought my guy a cute LITTLE gift to wear for Valentine's Day. I can't wait to see him in it!! I also plan on making and decorating a german chocolate cake for him - I love it that he loves dessert!

Hey Doc, Who is your friend in theater? It would be funny if I knew him. The guy in CA is just a friend from college. Seemed like there was possibility, but he got a job in CA and now we only talk online all the time. I wish there was more to report, and if there is I'll let you all know.

He goes to Emerson, but I think he just started this semester. He knew those people before Emerson. I think he went to college in Boston back when he was college-aged (we're 30 ), but don't know which school.
