I thought you were sending your resume out to be re-formatted. So you are sending it to AL to be considered for a job in VA? Is this the one that may already be filled?
Hmmmmmm...Maybe on the tech board they can help. Outlook? I have never been able to get that thing to work.
Yes, I sent it. But they got a little over creative. I've handled a petty cash disbursement fund, but they changed that to payroll!

I've never done payroll in my life! And in one of my positions they added on at the end...Secondary Source: Somethiing or other Management. What the heck is that? Well, they had a word in there, not something or other.

I wrote them back and asked what it is. They didn't answer my question, so I took it out. I could just see me at an interview and someone asking me about it, and I have NO CLUE!

Changed a few other things also. For the most part, they did great at wording things. But their formatting was way off. They had the heading looking nice, not flush left. A line under the address. Directions said no lines, boxes, etc. They used bullets, instructions said no bullets. So basically I reformatted it again the way it should have been for this job. Took a few days! At least now it's done and I'm ready for the next posting. I won't be held up. Yup, this is the one that might be filled.
Speaking of which...That's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annoying when it happens! I know that when I wanted a job in my department, my boss had every intention of putting me in it but said she "had" to run an ad.

Once I applied for a job with the city I lived in, left work early, etc. for an interview with them. They already had someone in mind from within. Grrrrrr! Hope this isn't going to be the same deal. Don't waste my time!!!
