Legs...Glad you had a fun and relaxing weekend! We need to treat ourselves to that every now and then.

Barry...Welcome back! Glad you had a great time. That's how I felt after visiting Virginia in December...didn't want to come back here!! Off to Virginia tomorrow morning! Woooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooo! Walk through is at 7:30 a.m., closing is at 8. And they're even giving us breakfast! No more typing among the boxes. Now I'm on the floor typing away. Ha ha! The only problem is that it doesn't look too comfortable for sleeping! It's ALL tile! OUCH! Maybe the van will be better as suggested by a friend.

and when your with the right group of trucks it helps.

TB I get there about 9 times a year, sometimes more, just happens, like april I get to go to dallas area. still don't have the place yet. will get that nexted week after I get back. is houston by dallas,???? some places I get to alot and others not much. Last time in tx. was about 2 yrs ago. and then just crossed the pan handle was going to owlberque, some what different out there. Well had 3 calls today looks like one is losing her fight. 68 and bad shape. hate those calls.

I know this will probably be my third post in a row, just wanted to share a couple pooch stories:

My db mentioned last night that the next time he has to buy dog food for his puppy he is going to buy adult food (she'll be one in May). Insert whining, crying smilie. I'm not ready for my baby girl to eat big girl food.

Story 2: I gave my beautiful Harley (in the pic) a haircut. OMG she looks awful. The clippers broke half way through. She now looks like a sheep being prepped for surgery. Now I know why PetSmart charges $75 dollars and keeps her for hours. I promised her that Mommy would never give her a haircut again. Now if we can just make it through the growing out stage. I'm almost scared to walk her outside - I can't imagine the stares/questions we will get.

FF: LOL LOL yeah my lil sis has a lot of stuff. But no i don't think she learned from me. WE are close but totally different. She has always been a "popular" kid, me i just did my own thing. Didn't really care what other people thought about me.

TB: Hope Harley's hair grows fast. LOL That reminds me of a story about my mom. She had a dream one time that she should cut her bangs, and well she did in her sleep. LOL LOL

You guys are making my day out to be a great one, a lot better than it started.

I was wondering about that myself. Does anyone know? If I'm in say South Carolina, do I need to find out the area code I'm in and switch my computer to find a number in that area code? Is Dan peeking in? TIA!!! Or is it according to my phone number my ISP has for me and would still be that area code?

You will need to know the area code but I don't think you will actually dial in until you change it, well atleast in most programs anyway.

Poor Harley! I guess Mom learned her lesson.

I just switched Skippy to adult dog food. He turned one in February. Actually, I mixed the bag in with the puppy food to help him adjust. Now he has a bag of just adult food. Yup, it's a mile marker for them!

PW -- I have AOL. You just need to change the area code when you get to where you're going. You can set up a new "location" or whatever they call it. They have home, work, etc. You can set one up for NC. I have them set up for MS and NOLA for when I go back home.

I tried speed dating twice - 3 minute and 8 minute. I didn't meet anyone I was interested in. I went with an acquaintance the first time though and she did met someone - a blond rugby player from Canada. Nice guy - just not my type. I wonder if they are still dating. If they are not, she at least had fun while it lasted.

Edited to Add: Ok, I did actually go out with one guy from speed dating. I didn't actually have a "date" with him that night. We met at the bar before the event started and he asked me for my phone number. Too bad I didn't have 8 minutes with him....I never would have gone out with him if I did. Truly a scary person - definitely unstable. He even referred to himself as a "racist". I kid you not. And he had done Its Just Lunch (?) which was a dating service I considered joining. Looks can be deceiving...

I just found out that I'll be in Houston in May BUT only for one hour. I'm changing planes there, then heading to Vegas. That might set a record for the shortest DIS meet.
