I just had to stop in and not just say "HI", but to thank Pin Wizard
for one of the best threads I have ever read. I'm not one that can sit and read a book, but I have to admit I just spent the better part of the evening reading this entire thread......simply unbelievable. I've always known that the DIS members are very supportive of one another....wow, this thread proves just that.

I just wanted to say thanks for allowing me to share in your thoughts and issues.

And yes, I too should be added to the recently single list.......thank god for Disney......where would we all be......

Thanks, Rick! That's the sweetest thing I've heard in a long time! But of course, it's everyone posting here that makes it great. And I've come to think of them as my cyber friends. And I've met a couple in person! DISers are great people.

Some time when you feel like reading another book, do a search and find the original thread. This is part 2. And the first part is just as good.

New to the ranks of being a single DISer? You don't sound thrilled about it...I'm sorry. Feel free to jump in!! The more, the better it is. I agree, Disney is a good thing. There are those on these boards much more into it than I am, but I've met some really great people on this site. Not necessarily in person, but I now have e-mail addresses, some even have given home addresses, and I never would have met these people one way or the other if it weren't for this board. It certainly is a GREAT place!

Hi Pin Wizard, you are so right....there are just so many friendly dis'ers out there. I have never seen such a support group. It does not matter what the problem is....someone out there is willing to help. To answer your question regarding being single again......it's only been 2 years being seperated, but recently was finalized. We just turned into good friends......I guess that was a good thing....also no children , but after 18 years it was a little strange, but thank god I love to cook. I have to admit she could not understand what I saw in Disney......I think I am up to 8 trips now that I have made solo.

You are right...it's getting colder out there....get out the second blanket tonight.

Me not doing much this weekend. Need to look for a place to move...probably moving this August...augh! At least I'm not moving far...staying in the same town. Did do some weeding though...the weeds have taken over the flower beds so I decided to attack them this week. Will probably take all week. A little bit at a time.

LOLOLOLOL! I see you're going to make me laugh all day again, Legs! However, today I can really use it! Had an IM from DHT this morning. Lunch tomorrow is off. He has to host a VIP tomorrow. And he's off on vacation at the end of the month. I'll go have my cry now. All cyber hugs welcome!

Well, I can't believe what I wrote on the other thread. Then I read about the lunch being cancelled on this thread. I probably made you cry again. I am not helping this rollercoaster at all.

That man is far too busy. Maybe you should make a lunch date with him and then YOU cancel on him

Either are possibilities. It just depends on what city he has to be in on any particular day. Sometimes it gets changed last minute or close enough to it.

Its great to see new people joining us!! Fat cow and Rick. This IS a wonderful thread - and the more the merrier!

Dbf and I started a 30 day contest today to see who can lose the most weight. He is going to be doing a modified Atkins plus exercise and I think I'll going to primarily focus on eating more healthy and working my butt off (hopefully literally ). I have a feeling he has the advantage. I have been sitting at 125 pounds for the last year and think I just need something else to motivate me. Hopefully, this will do the trick! I wonder how much I can lose in a month if I exercise everyday?
