Okay...I've Called the Late Night DISers, Now I'm Calling the Single DISers (Part 2)

We went to see a sneakpeak of The Notebook last night. I was surprised by how much my dbf liked it! Many people were crying at the end. One woman behind us was just sobbing - people were actually laughing at the poor woman. It is definitely one of the better love stories to come out in years. The basic story is similar to the book, but the movie adds new dimensions to the story. If you are the romantic type - I would definitely recommend it!!

TB- Neither one of you look like you need to lose weight!

I think I read the book but can't remember what it was about:confused:

I just watched Mystic River. Good movie. I really prefer renting movies. And not because it's cheaper.

I was thinking about giving EG my cell # then I realized when I set up my phone voice mail I said my first AND last name (I'm not talking about the greeting part). When you call another Cingular customer and leave a message and then they check their voice mail they will first hear your voice saying your own name (from when you set up your voice mail) right before your message.

I'm with Legs, TB. Neither you nor your bf need to lose weight! :)

Legs...Hmm...I guess if you use your cell phone for business, you really do need your first and last name. I have Sprint's general message on mine, but it's just for personal use. I don't know. When I was working I really wasn't gung ho on giving my last name out, even though it's a common name. Can you change it to something with maybe your first name and the company or department? ie...this is Legs with blah blah blah. This is Legs! Ha ha! Try THAT one! :teeth:

FF...Cute! LOL!

DS and I just got back from seeing Garfield. Cute movie! :)

Whoo Hooo! I just did an hour and six minutes on an elliptical trainer. :teeth: Neither one of us has much to lose. For me it really is more about trying to decrease my body fat. I'm fairly small but I'm pretty darn soft.

Legs, I really enjoyed Mystic River as well - if "enjoyed" is the right word. Very well done movie.

Have you been able to reset your phone voice mail? Just beware that talking on the phone the first time can be a little bit awkward - unless either one of you can have conversations by yourself. :p The first time dbf called me I was in the middle of making lasagna (from scratch). Our call was brief - I told him I was literally in the middle of cooking. I'm so glad I emailed him the next morning to tell him I was glad he called because he really thought I wasn't interested in him (and even told me he wouldn't have called me back  ).When we made lasagna together for the first time he was like "ok now i know what you mean". :teeth:

Congrats on the 66 minutes, TB! What's an elliptical trainer? LOL! :teeth: I guess you're inspiring me to get my butt to the Y after I drop DS off at day care tomorrow morning. Threadmill and racquetball court, here I come! The clothes just aren't fitting right. :(

I agree...the first phone call is awkward. But they gradually get better! :)

I always am searching for ways to keep motivated to exercise. Which is a little interesting since when I do exercise, I naturally want to eat healthier.

The machine I used today is by Precor - it is somewhere between a treadmill and a stairmaster. It almost simulates a running movement (the movement is shaped like an ellipse) but there is no stress on your joints. Here is a pic of a similiar machine: http://www.precor.com/cpr_efx.php

Okay...I have seen those at the Y. Had no idea what they were called. Thanks, TB!

I see I can't type again today...threadmill rather than treadmill!

You must already be in shape to get on an eliptical or you will die.

LOL! Legs cracks me up again. Well if that's the case, I'm not ready for it. I'll stick with the treadmill. Geez...I want to get past the walking and up to a jog at least. ;)

Heard from DHT a little while ago. Looks like big wig might not be coming to town after all. We may be back on for lunch! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Can I just jump half way up in the air? Hate it when nothing is "definite." So we're planning for lunch unless I hear otherwise beforehand.

Let's see...the first one reminds me of vacationing at Club Med in FL. That was the first time I ever heard it. Everyone was dancing around the pool. :)

The second one reminds me of my friends wedding reception since she and her girls really played that one up! LOL!

It's my birthday this week. Going out after work tomorrow-dinner with friends to celebrate. I feel like celebrating right now after listening to this music:hyper:

Yipee! HG and I will meet when I'm at Sanibel. Should I ask him for a ride?;)

Is anyone out there there there there there????
