LOLOL! You did a great job, Legs!! Sometimes I feel like that.Originally posted by legs22
And at the rate I am posting, I will keep this thread on page one all by myself![]()
It takes that long for them to get paid?Originally posted by TigerBear
PW, I know how not fun job hunting can be. But I do love book stores! I just went to B&N yesterday to buy Summer Sisters after reading about it on Snoopy's beach book thread. I'm actually not surprised about government jobs taking so long. In the school district I work for it sometimes takes months for new people to get paid.![]()

Legs, that sucks about the ebay seller. I wonder if she might refund you the money? Do they sell any new PC stuff on ebay? I really need to buy a chopper. I bought my mom one when I went to a party once, and then bought myself an imitation one that has since landed in the trash.![]()

Ok this week can end now, this week has been terrible except the fact that Chris and I seem to get closer everyday.
Can you have several e-mail addresses with your ISP? I know with AOL I have 7. When we get past the web site point, I always give them one of the addresses that I can easily delete. They don't get my main e-mail address.Originally posted by legs22
EG has offered me his personal email address to email him at instead of through eHarmony. EHarmony warns against revealing personal info like email addresses. I'm not sure why. What could he find out with my email address?

LOLOL! Isn't it weird when they give their cell number? Whatever happened to the guy calling?Jim did the same thing with me. Ha!
Yes, you can get an e-mail address right away. If they already have your regular e-mail address, I don't think I'd worry about it. But anyone in the future I'd probably give a hotmail or other type to. Geez...poor Jim. I started out giving him a hotmail address. Had a problem sending something to him one night. Then I sighed up at hamptonroads.com. Have one there also. There's tons of places I'm sure.![]()
LOL! Did I skip that? Jim is a guy I had lunch with a few weeks ago. Haven't seen him since then yet, but we e-mail all the time and call every now and then. Still waiting to get us to the beach with him.Originally posted by legs22
Who's Jim???![]()
I guess offering their number is better than begging for mine![]()
Wow! You taught me something! My hotmail account does show my last name. I'll have to see if I can delete that.Originally posted by legs22
I did notice that my last name is revealed when I send emails from my home email so I opened an email acct at Yahoo. You can go in to your Yahoo acct after you open it and delete your last name so it is not shown in sent emails. It was very tough to come up with a user name that wasn't taken by someone else!!
So I replied back to EG through eHarmony and told him he could email me at my Yahoo address. I am just so leary of giving out personal info like phone numbers and email addresses because of a stalking case I was involved with. I would prefer to meet in person and if I like the person, then would feel more comfortable revealing personal info.
Can you find out any info from a person's cell #?
I just got another match one county south of me. Another pilot. His photo showed him in his pilot uniform. He said is 52 but he looks 62But I really liked his written profile.
