Okay, I'm gonna fess up now...I'm afraid that the tropic storm heading towards the ships is all my fault. You see, every year since Labor Day weekend, 1998, hubby and I have done the 3-day Disney cruise without incident. One year, we even managed to sail between two hurricanes! There was one the week before Labor Day and one the week after, but we were unscathed. Also, in 33 sailings, we've never once missed Castaway Cay.
Our Wonder cruise next week with be the 5th anniversary of our very first Disney cruise. My co-worker, Barb, who is sailing with us, has been fretting about hurricane season, and I've been bragging that it will NEVER happen as long as hubby and I are on board. Sometimes I forget that God has a sense of humor! So if that storm gets us, it will probably be due to my bragging.
(By the way, Barb's son Christopher is still doing very well, and I know that everyone's prayers and good wishes helped. It looks like she and her family will be able to enjoy this well-deserved vacation. We plan to have fun even if it storms...it will be a new life adventure!)

Way to keep that chin up in the face of such dire circumstances Barb.

Hopefully 35 will be stormless:p :p :p :p
