You're absolutely right. They do ruin peoples lives. That is part of why it is illegal. People can't stop and use it as a way to escape reality. That is why casinos are illegal in so many states. Gambling ruins lives. Same thing with drugs. People act like it's no big deal to smoke a joint, well yea it is. If it wasn't why do they arrest people for it? Say you smoke some pot then drive...it impairs your driving. You hit and kill someone. That ONE JOINT changed your life.

Good point! And a lot of underage drinkers don't get hurt, so that must be okay too! I guess I'll go get a fake ID and go to a club and get drunk. Then I'll lose all memories of what I did that night, who I was with, and what I did. That sounds like fun. And it's okay because a lot of people do it!!!

It's always ok as long as it's the COOL thing to do and a lot of people do it. Doesn't matter if it's legal, as long as it's cool and doesn't hurt you then you have every right to do illegal things.

You didn't answer my question... HOW does smoking pot make one a bad person? Yes, there are people who partake in it and are irresponsible. Those are bad people, they're putting others at risk. But what if you're safe about it?

Kids are curious. I see nothing wrong with experimenting, but I do see something wrong with becoming addicted. I would never recommend someone to do crack, ecstasy, or pot but people do get curious.

There's a good chance your parents smoked pot or tried it when they were young. Especially if they grew up in the 60s/70s..look at our society today. Granted there are major cracks, but thats not the point.

I don't see why everyone cares so much about this picture. It's her body, other celebs have done way worse, such as Paris Hilton with her sex tape, etc. True fans will back up there celebrity and pray for them to not be addicted and if they do become addicted they have the strength to realize they have a problem.

Also, why in the world would little kids be on the internet on tmz.com or perezhilton.com finding this picture? I'm sure half of twilight fans havent heard of this yet. A good percentage of my friends are twilight fans and talk about it daily, and I havent heard them bring it up yet.

No, but you don't think Paris' sex tape or pictures of her with no underwear on and everything else she does isnt bad for young kids to see? If 12 year olds are on sites like that, then they should be old enough to know what drugs are and that not everyone is perfect. Just because "the girl from twilight" is doing it, doesnt mean they will too. I think you are giving little credit to 12 year olds, they arent all dumb and naive.

not that i'm condoning but but literally everrryyy kid in my HS did it, even the "good kids" that you wouldn't expect to.
teenagers are curious and will expiriment with things that they think might be fun.
again, not condoning it, but im not condemning people who DO do it.
