Because yesterday I watched the Disney Cruise Line planning DVD for the first time and I cried.

Hello?!! It's a stupid planning video for goodness sakes! Who cries over a planning video?!! But with the music and the happy families playing on the beach and Mickey on the ship hugging the kids, it was so sweet I couldn't help it.

Every time I watch a Disney vacation planning video I get choked up and sometimes I just bawl!!! The music on those things provokes this cavalcade of tears!! Then looking at all the families (yes, I know that they are SUPPOSED to look happy and entice you to come) and I remember all the good times we have had, then I start thinking about my 10 year old growing up and that leads to a heap more tears!!! What can I say? I'm a blubbering, sentimental mess!!!! (hence the tag!)

OK, here's the first runner-up admitting that whenever I watch our cruise video from back in April '04, I cry at the sailaway party when they blow the "When You Wish Upon a Star" horn . So why is it that you cry over happy memories ?
