Okay complicated question on UK tickets

We're flying over from UK and staying in May at a conference at the Hilton at WDW for 4 nights, followed by 12 nights at POFQ. I have booked the dining package and a 21 day ultimate ticket (you can still get them in the UK) as the 21 day is only £20 more than the 14 day (which is only £10 more than the 7day and 5day). Obviously we need the 21 day ticket for the full trip as its better value than a 5 day ticket for the Hilton and a 14 day for the POFQ part of the trip.

The Disney travel company originally told me tickets were posted out, then on checking told me that wasn't possible and I can pick up the tickets from any guest services, they will just need to check the booking with the hotel. I'm not sure if this is possible. Can anyone confirm this? Is picking up tickets that are part of a package allowed?

We have stayed in ASMo and POR before and always had the tickets on the key to the world card, this is the first time we are doing a split stay.

Sorry its a long post, thanks for your help!

I have no experience with UK tickets, but I CAN tell you that if you purchased these tickets as part of a package, then you would pick them up on property.

Check your documentation. You should get something in the mail confirming your travel, and it should have more information on your admission media.

My response will also bump this back up to the top of the page for you so others with more experience may be able to help out.

Are you sure they booked the 21 day ultimate ticket as part of your vacation package? At least for U.S. guests, only regular Magic Your Way tickets can be the required tickets for a package.

There have been reports that you cannot pick up package tickets until check in day at the resort for the package. For you that would be five days into your vacation. Maybe there are ways to get the tickets sooner but some CM's on site might not know the procedure and say it cannot be done.

We have booked with virgin and i have ordered the 14 day ticket. They have just sent us a voucher for the tickets which has to be handed in at reception when you check-in. The tickets is then added to your room key.

If they give you a ticket confirmation number, I would think any guest relations location can pull up those tickets regardless. Either that, or they'll give you a voucher for the tickets which you redeem for your tickets ( treat the voucher as cash! )

seashore - the UK tickets and packages are completely different than US tickets/packages.
