Secondly, I believe they won't let your party join you in the FP line if they do not have FPs so standby or FP that strategy won't hold once they move.

I did keep one adult fastpass along with my daughter just in case! Hope that I didn't speak to soon because now when I go to my My Disney Experience, I am not seeing our fastpasses listed on the intinerary unless I actually click on that day. I am not seeing them at all when I look on it on my app??!! HELP!!

This is very new to me and will be our first Disney trip but I was able to confirm with a CM last night that as a parent just standing in line that you do not need a fastpass. Only the person/child actually meeting the princesses do. This helped get me a fastpass for 9:10AM. Hope this helps everyone else!

sorry but this is NOT TRUE! Everyone in the FP line has to have a valid FP.

Both of you are correct. EVERYONE entering the FP queue must have an FP.

The phone CM is incorrect.

Because anyone can say they are just taking pics and once they get past the 2nd checkpoint then they go and visit. A body is a body is a body. Only x number of bodies are allowed In the area at any given time so all bodies have to either have a FP or go to the standby line.

Well I should have known that I would have gotten the correct answer here so thank you! Now anyone else not seeing their fastpass for the meet and greet on their itinerary? Also, is it okay if some of our fastpasses overlap?

I got 2 FP for them - going to drop one in the next few minutes - one is for May 14th and the other for the 19th - I think I'm dropping the one on the 19th. Getting 2 was a glitch - the site kept freezing up on me so I tried for a different day and got it but somehow already had the 1st day. Go figure.

For those who are watching - we have APs and today was my 60 day mark (staying onsite for 8 days) - FP availability for the trip was open this morning (last night I could only book into mid April).

I am SO excited that Anna and Elsa have FP!! Thank you Disney

Just beware that there are a number of us on the DISboards that ordered Frozen dresses from JCP.com and then JCP eventually cancelled our order. I ordered Anna at the end of Feb. and it was showing as being in stock for the size I wanted. Then when I went to track it, it said it was on back order and would ship March 5th. March 5th it was, until March 6th came around and I get a very brief e-mail saying that my order was canceled. Not saying this will happen to you, but it has happened to a number of us. Luckily someone on the boards told me their awful experience, so I kept looking and found my niece a dress at the local Disney Store.

Thanks for the heads up. I live hours away from a Disney Store and their website is all sold out. I plan on looking around because the thought of JCP selling out or going on back stock did cross my mind. Doesn't hurt to hope and try.

Yay! I got my fastpasses for 4/29 - we are a party of 8 so I had to split us up into 5 different groups in order to get everyone a fastpass. We are all within 30 minutes so we can enter together at 9:30am. So EXCITED!!!!! Hopefully the line for the FP won't be too long as we have a first haircut appointment at 11 am.

I initially got one for 4/23 at 3:40, but, after reading this thread, changed it to 9:05 on 4/22, an EMH day. Which blows up my entire touring plan (and touringplans.com hasn't updated to accommodate A&E, yet) so I have no idea how to arrange everything else we want to do at MK. But at least I have A&E covered.

Try the website and not the app and see if that works.

Here's some advice from Kenny the Pirate:

"I will also state that if you don’t get to pre-reserve a FP+ because the hotel guests beat you to it, just check the app or kiosk as soon as the park opens. A large number of FP+ are opened up each day as the park opens."

Originally got 4/30 then moved to 5/4 and finally settled on 5/6! We have a party of 8, so I actually had to book us in 2 separate sets but basically same times so we could go all together.
