OK, where is the BEST Concierge service?

I have seen lots of posts here and am wondering... where is the absolute best concierge service... based on room, food, food availability, water availability, drinks to go, service, etc?? We have the GF SL booked, but I am starting to worry now! Thanks for your feedback!

Based on your rquirements I would say the Polynesian. I do prefer the AKL only because the CM's there are incredible and I love that resort (although I love the Polynesian as well.)

I will never stay concierge at the GF again, it was a very, very bad experience, based entirely on very, very poor guest service.

We've stayed at the GF RPC, Poly, CR 14th and 12th floors, YC, BC, AKL, Swan and Dolphin Concierge levels. Of all of those, the Contemporary 14th floor had, far and away, the best pre-planning, resort cast members, food and drink selection and availability, and room views. The AKL had the best standard rooms and had the best perk (Sunrise Safari). We liked the poly lounge, but it is in a different building than the suites, which can be a pain (though a small lounge is set up in the lobby of the (formerly) Bali Hai longhouse. The worst service we experienced was from the GF RPC. The food often ran out in the lounge, the cast members were nothing special (nothing beyond guest relations at the resort front desk). I don't mind paying a premium price for my vacations, but I expect premium services when I do. The whole thing turned us off of the GF. We wouldn't stay there again. There are too many other places we enjoy more.

I've stayed concierge at the CR, Poly, AKL and GF RPC. I agree with all the previous posters that concierge at GF is the pits and I also will never stay concierge at the GF again. The CR was o.k., but that was 10 years ago, so I'm not really going to compare it. The Poly and the AKL were both great, but for different reasons. The Poly lounge is VERY casual and the food offerings are plentiful and the best on property IMO. The AKL is a great mix between casual and elegance, and they have such unique offerings. There is a nice assortment of things, and everything was GREAT, but I think the food offerings at the Poly is just a little better. The lounge at the Poly has a SPECTECULAR view of the MK and the evening fireworks. IT was GREAT to be able to relax there and eat dessert while watching them at night. The AKL lounge, while relaxing, didn't seem as inviting to me and there really wasn't anything to do there, except eat, again my opinion. Now, with all that said, which concierge am I going to go back to next year? AKL! Yep, my only fault with the Poly is the rooms there. I don't think they are at all nice, and I believe they are in need of a major redecoration. Now, I'm staying there this summer, but not concierge, since I didn't want to do concierge in Tahiti, I LOVE the Hawaii building. I also long to try concierge at BC and the BWI, so those are on my adjenda for future trips!!!

I've stayed at the GF RPC twice before and never had a problem at all, in fact we enjoyed the entire experience very much; so much so that we're going back this July.
