OK- where are the floor plans for rooms/resorts?

I believe only SSR has room layouts shown on the DVC site. THe rest use the virtual tour apporach as on the WDW site.

I think leaving the floor plans (and other practical info) off the new DVC website (public portion) is the biggest mistake of the site make over. It's now very difficult for me to direct my guests to any tangible info about their accomodations.

Sure, I could refer them to the members only side of the site (the floor plans are there), but they'll get lost among all the extra navigation. (Plus I don't like giving out my passwords. The members site must be password protected for a reason...haven't figured it out yet, but there's probably a reason.)

One of these days I'm gonna write a long letter to DVC full of recommendations for the website and and the guidebook. (The floor plans should be in there, too!)

The new and improved website looks real pretty but sure is missing a lot of very basic info -- floor plans, easy access to resort addresses, rate schedules and any listing at all of the trading options. Instead of the hoped for advances (like being able to check points on-line or even make reservations), now we've got to wait to get back what we had before.

The member web site still has floor plans.

From the home page, click on "Resorts & Member Getaways" (near the top of the page)

Then "Disney Vacation Club Resorts"

Select a resort.

Then, at the left, click on "Accommodations."

When the resort-specific page loads, you'll see room descriptions with a link that reads "Click here for room layout." The floor plan itself opens in a pop-up, so make sure you have pop-ups allowed on that site if you happen to be using a pop-up blocker.

I believe they are seeking the plans from the public portion of the site, not the member's portion.
