What are the men's bathrooms like at each of the parks? I hate bathrooms that are football stadium types. You know....the long trough that you pee in. No dividers and no privacy. I want urinals with dividers in between each one. Is that what I can expect? I plan to be driking a lot, which means peeing alot, so I would like to know about the bathroom situation. Thanks in advance for the replys.

Can't recall if they have dividers between them or not, but I don't know of one restroom in all of WDW that has the "trough" urinal that you're talking about. I attend lots of sporting events at stadiums and know exactly what you mean. You won't find that at WDW. And for the most part, the restrooms at WDW are very well maintained and clean.

separate urinals in every one I've been in. I'm not sure about the dividers, but definately enough space and urinals that you won't feel crowded. Nothing like sports stadium restrooms. Some of the best and cleanest public restrooms out there.

Disney does not have any of the urinal troughs.:thumbsup2 I am not to sure about the dividers, but I believe the majority of them do have them.:confused3

Have a great trip

Dan, that is prime Tag Fairy material. :lmao:

There is a poster here who has a great WDW website with tons of pictures and even some videos of the parks. On this site are pictures of the insides of restrooms. I tried to find it in my WDW links, but couldn't. Maybe someone else can post a link to this site.

The Urnials all look like this:

I have to laugh because when Notre Dame's stadium was recently expanded and renovated, it was the designers' intent to modernize the rest rooms as well. This would have replaced the "urinal troughs" with individual units.

A near riot ensued. Do what you will to the "House that Rockne Built," NO ONE was going to mess with the urinal troughs.

And this is why, even today, you can experience the joy at Notre Dame stadium of communal urination.

That said, I don't recall experiencing that same, well, bliss at WDW.

I don't think there are dividers anywhere in the parks. You'll just have to do the shoulder-lean maneuver to create a bit of private space. :rotfl: You can always duck into a stall if you'd rather do it that way.

Hey Kelly.

You are thinking of DIS'er Cass. She has a fabulous website, including WDW restrooms........

Make sure to look at all her site, it is really a good one. :thumbsup2

Well, I am glad that there are so many great places for men to pee in!:woohoo: :rotfl2:

Some must think that Tom Sawyer Island is one of those places. :rolleyes1  If I wanted to go somewhere that smelled like a subway station or parking garage elevator I'd go to Boston. Needless to say I'm not in a hurry to get back on TSI.

i prefer a trough. makes me feel superior to everyone else, but they sure can be cold at the bottom.

I'm not sure what part of Boston you're referring to but I can assure you my hometown does not smell like a subway station. Unless of course you're IN a subway station in Boston. :confused3

Wow, thanks for all the replys. I don't understand why men's bathrooms so frequently don't have dividers in between the urinals. Do bathroom designers just think that men don't want privacy or don't care?

I worked at an office once where the men's bathroom was totally messed up. There was a one toilet and one urinal on the same wall with no divider in between them. It turned what should have been a 2 person bathroom into a one person. I always went in and locked the door behind me.

With no dividers, I get "stage fright" while trying to pee. I know I am not the only one. I will be standing there and some guy comes up to the urinal next to me. Forget about it. Nothing will happen for me. What is worse is when the guy that comes up next to you also has stage fright. You two could be standing there a long time.:hourglass With a divider, this phenomenon is much easier to overcome. No divider?....I am done for.

I dont remember that there were dividers in the bathrooms but there are always the stalls most of the restrooms i believe have mutliple stalls in them as well just another suggestion
