OK, this isn't funny

They're not dead or even "freezing" exactly. They just go into hibernation when the temps drop below a certain number. So they'd just need to warm the little guys up.

I guess I could do that.....

I can't believe how things grind to a halt just because of a little snow. I don't think we have ever had a winter here that didn't have a couple of days below 0 and we get plenty of snow. You just plow the roads, shovel the drive, and get on with life. Heck, even if you don't have plows if you only have 2 or 3 inches it isn't really that hard to drive in.

If you are in an area where it rarely snows, they probably don't have enough snow plows. And most people don't have good shovels, there's not enough salt for the roads, people don't know how to drive in the snow, etc.

-4. Thats 11 degrees warmer than what I woke up to this morning, and I still had to go to work.

I hate snow, cant do anything on the allotment just got a delivery of 20 raspberry canes 6 current bushes and 2 gooseberry bushes which need to be planted and there is more snow I HATE SNOW I don't like the cold I hate the crunch under my feet. I really need it to be gone. Fortunately the roads here are clear but really no more snow please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And here we are complaining that is is 71 in January! I would love to send all of you some warm air!

We're looking at -16F. DH and I have decided to move south when he retires.

DH keeps joking around saying he only has to deal with 3 more weeks of winter then it's summertime for him because he's deploying. Boy do I wish I could go with him!!
