I have a while until I am back at POP but I look forward to being there again.
A wonderful morning in EPCOT. A yummy lunch too.
I love that you took time to ride the monorail and boat. I think that is what Disney is all about. I think sometimes people forget that when they are rushing from thing to thing.![]()
Men. When will they learn to listen to us women? We are wise.![]()
Now I know that some people might have thought we wasted time or whatever riding all over the place but we had a a lot of fun and it was a really nice break from walking. Really isn't that what Disney is all about spending time together having fun.
Couldn't agree more! Sounds like a great day.
One of the joys of Disney transportation, for kids, that is - standing up and holding on to the handrails.
Watermelon is the only one of those drink choices I can really take. It is very sweet, though!
I'm interested in seeing what all you did on your non-park day.![]()
I love the monorail and boat and have done them in combination more than once just for the ride, I think it's wonderful. Not a waste of time at all.
Somehow in my effort to get cheap glowsticks and rings, they never glow very well, it's always a disappointment. Glad Lexi's worked!
The joys of the potty in the middle of a show...I confess that I don't miss those days. those fish and chips look great right now, I seem to catch your updates right when I'm starving!![]()
A good tip for any one reading. Walmart sells .99 pocket sized ponchos!! They are so small that they fit in your pocket.
It's great because you can take it with you and when it rains you just pop it out. When the rain is over you can just throw them away. It's fun watching everyone trying to dry their poncho's and trying to fold them neatly while you walk past them to the next attraction knowing you have another dry poncho in the bag![]()
The monorail is an attraction in and of itself. Last year, when we brought DNiece, it was one of her must-do's! Just the two of us went, a nice bonding time. Also let us pop in at Poly for a quick look-see and a Dole Whip. No point starving in the name of family time.
Oh, the endless poncho issues! I always have them in the park bag, 2 each, just in case. DH rarely wants to wear his, but I plasticize at the first droplet. So our eye-rolling comes when he gets impatient waiting for me to fish one out & wrestle into it. We still use our Disney ponchos from a 2005 trip. $5, 6 years = Good value! I'm always happier reusing when possible. It's cheaper, greener & reminds us of previous adventures. One year, we brought ponchos from the Maid of the Mist boat ride at Niagara Falls. Yup, we got some looks.
How wise of you to plan a no-parks day. We did that when DD was little, too. So what did you do?
Is that the actual size of the fish n chips that Rose n Crown serves? It seems kind of little. Is it because you took it to go to see illuminations or will that be the same size if you sit down and eat?
Little nervous about my upcoming ADR @ Rose n Crown now after seeing that picture![]()
Joining in a little late but still! You're DD is to cute!
