I have dial up

Is DSL through the phone lines?
I thought cable was supposed to be faster because the lines are bigger?

I pay about $38/month for my home phone bill with caller ID, private unlisted number and internet call waiting. Plus I pay $10/mo. for dial up service. All my long distance is through my cell. So I thought why don't I do away with my home phone and take the $48 and get high speed internet access? My neighbors did this. I thought it was a great idea.

We've had DSL through SBC ($29.95 per month) for a few months. No problems with it so far.

We have cable internet, the internet is added on to our regular cable bill which usually comes to about $100 a month, we have all the HBO's and etc, through Time Warner. I love cable internet, we used aol for a long time before this and it was soooo slow, I could have written a novel in my wait times.

We have cable. My cable bill is $130 per month, which includes digital cable on 3 TV's and my internet.

We have Verizon DSL and it is either $35 or $39 a month. Its added to our phone bill, so our total phone bill is about $75 or so a month, sometimes as low as $55 per month.

We have Cable. Use to be roadrunner but Cox changed it to just Cox. It runs $39.95 a month for internet service, we have 3 computers connected. Total cable bill is $121 and we also have the HBO's, Showtime, and many other digital channels and it still amazes me how sometimes there is absolutely nothing on TV.

Have had Charter cable modem for 14 months or so and love it! Got it and digital cable at the same time. Have all the HBO's and lots of other stuff, two tvs and boxes. Total for all is $91.
