I keep antibac stuff at my desk too because sometimes either there is no soap in the bathroom or there are no towels. Or sometimes I'm in such a hurry that I HAVE to get back to my desk and I do leave the bathroom without washing my hands - I admit it. But then I go right for my antibac and take care of it well. I also then put some antibac lotion on too.

I'm the lady you see strolling right for the door from the stall, unless there are those "sensor" faucets, and paper towel dispensers that don't require me to touch anything but the towel.

I keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer in my purse at all times, and use it when I can't wash up. And even when I can sometimes. I try to make a point of using it as I'm leaving the restroom, so I don't get the "evil eye" from anyone who notices I didn't soap up.

So don't think we're gross! You don't see what we do after we leave the potty!!

And maybe I'm just weird, and hubby's right (that I use way too much TP)....but I very rarely NEED to wash up afterwards, if you get my drift. The hand sanitizer is for all the germies I may have picked up touching the door of the stall.

I would guess you would find the practice even more prevalent in men's rooms.
