OK Now I'm scared

OMG:scared1:
I always request a high floor....just to minimize the creepy crawlers....

Never thinking it would be a SNAKE AND A NEST:eek: :scared1:

OP:worship: For taking this all in stride:goodvibes

We had a snake join us in the Pop Century Pool in September......it was wicked hot and I think that the snake was hot too...
NOW I literally ran out of that water and I dont remember getting out.......very unusual to have company like this.......SO dont worry...
One time we saw a "snake" on the way to Japan and a man said ......that is not a snake its a legless lizard......never heard of that before but that is what they said it was....heebie jeebies here ....it slithers like a snake so to me it is a snake..

Now I hate snakes....but a black snake I could handle...Not that I would pleased to have one in my room but at least they are harmless and they are keeping your room free of spiders...You wouldn't believe all the places a black snake will show up.....an be glad it wasn't a baby gator...When DH and I lived in Bradenton Beach we came home to one blocking the door to our house...:scared1:

I would have been screaming bloody murder taking down small children and drowning the elderly as I ran out of the pool

Please I really have a horrible phobia of snakes and even though I know it was harmless I would scream like a nut
How did you get the gator to move?????

I've seen a black snake twice at WL. Both times on walkway to the bus stop:eek: More scared of me than me of them:lmao:

There is no way that it is physically possible for a snake to more scared of me than I am of it!!! :scared1: :scared1:

:rotfl: this may be the funniest thing i have ever read, thank you. i was reading this thread getting all freaked out and i still havent stopped :lmao: from what you wrote. :rotfl:

i wonder if it could have gotten in from mousekeeping leaving the door open :confused3 we're staying at AKL in december and i'll make sure to check the bathroom for zebras :lmao:

I have heard of snakes just about everywhere at WDW including resorts...last year about this time someone posted they had found one inside one of the DVC villas rooms, in the washer/dryer room:scared1:

another post about one at DHS while watching fantasmic as the snake slithered across the ground where people were sitting (at the back):scared1:
and just a few weeks ago someone posted one at AK (not behind glass):rotfl2: I know if I come across a snake:scared1: I'll die right there and then of a heart attack:faint: ....and I live in Florida

I know, I know I am crazy but I feel a little bad for the snake. Poor thing. She thought she had a good thing going for her and her nest...a nice plush hotel room. I bet she wasn't expecting to share her room with anyone else either. :scared1: At least it looked like they took it in good stride and it didn't ruin their vacation. And what a story to tell!

Oh beleive me there is no telling what I will do when I am scared.... I lose all common sense!!!!

OH NO NOT IN THE DVC ROOMS!!! We are going to BCV, I will have my hubby checking the cabinets, under and over the beds, washer and dryer, the shower, the tub, the toilet etc...etc...etc....

We called animal control from our neighbors....It was not small enought to pick up ourselves and remove. It was the length of our front step so it was like an older child/preteen gator...It was calm until animal control got there and slipped that loopy thing on the long pole around it head....They made us stay back on the neighbors property until they had removed it....I do not ever want to that again....and if a gator ever shows up here in Indiana on my door step then I would be freaking out!!!:scared1:

Why oh why can't the snakes enjoy all of the woods and lakes around Disney and leave the resorts and parks to us human folks???????????

:rotfl2: oh I'm sure their are plenty of them there too:rotfl2: they just like to come out and play once in a while too:lmao:

I bet the GF CL rooms have never had a snake in them :thumbsup2 .... hmmmmm do you think if I tell my hubby that he wouldnt have to snake hunt the rooms if we stay at GF he will buy it?????????

I have to believe that this is a freak incidence. In 15 trips to the Mouse, we have NEVER seen a snake in our room.

I agree it must be a freak accident but I wonder how many times it does happen?
I just hope it never happens to me, hopefully in January the snakes are all down south in Miami sunning away.......:rolleyes1

Hmm... did the snake and her kids bring the guest over their room limit? :rotfl:

I've heard of more dangerous snakes over at WL. I didn't even know FL had rattle snakes until I read about it here. I've never seen more than some ducks, birds. lizards, and love bugs. I'm willing to keep it that way too.

Oh no, now I have to check the washer & dryer at the DVC... I am terrified of snakes, and would probably have to be taken away on a stretcher - had three recent trips and two past ones, and managed not to ever see one, but I suppose the odds are, since we are now DVC members, that one is going to show up sooner or later.... :sad1:

It would probably take years of therapy for me to be able to return.....
