I was just on the WDW website pricing out the difference between my ressie at POP for April 16-24th, and possibly upgrading to AKL when I got to the continue button to total it up, the screen goes to this :

Welcome to your Walt Disney World PIN Offer

then a place to enter a PIN number that is supposedly 15 numbers long!!!

I can't find an actual Pin number anywhere on that page, so why would that come up , except to make me C R A Z Y!!!!! THe CM on the phone just kept repeating that he needed to the PIN, I didn't see one! Just the fact that they are showing me a page that "could" offer it?????:sad1:

PINS are 15 number long :thumbsup2 - as for the bit about it showing up on your reservation page to add, :confused3 I've never seen it. Maybe your are "cracking up"!:rotfl2: (just kidding!)

I swear its the weirdest thing !!! How awful to see "Welcome to YOUR walt disney world PIN OFFER" And not show the actual PIN??? When I hit the back button, it just reloads the same page too....

It's happened to me several times while I was pricing some dates. It looks like a place for people who already have pin codes. It asks for the # and the name attached to the code.

I thought you couldn't book with pin codes online. I thought you had to call them in... weird.

This morning I was on the website. I priced a vacation (I already have one booked, though), closed it, and just went over to "my saved vacation offers" just to see what I had previously saved and it wouldn't bring them up. Instead I got that message you did. It kept asking me to enter my PIN code. Huh? I immediately checked my email but no such luck. Weird glitch today, I guess. Crossing fingers it means something! :goodvibes

And I wanted to add that the screen I got also asked for the name attached to the code, too (not just the number). Maybe they're testing their website to start allowing PINs to be entered online or something. Who knows.

I got this last night and I tried everything to get it to save, copy or even screen shot and I could not save it at all. I thought if I posted here without proof then no one would believe me. I thought the same as some of you, what pin. I have never recieved anything. At the bottom of the page was a survey link and I did fill that out asking how I would get a pin?? Haven't heard anything back yet though.

I had that same thing happen to me two nights ago. I was playing with the pricing of a Deluxe resort for our upcoming trip in May and I got the same thing. I was looking all over the page looking for some magical pin code.

First the offer for the personalized stationary from Disney Destinations now this. Disney is really trying to mess with me.

I was just on the website pricing different resorts and I had the same thing happen to me. I believe I had just clicked on Edit on the left side of the page and the PIN screen came up.

well at least I am NOT crazy, others are seeing this too. Too bad its a tease!

I had left the disney page to read the DIS to see about July rates, I came back to my Disney World Page and it stated my session ended would I like to start another. I clicked on Start Another and the Pin page came out. The strange thing is mine said enter PIN number if one was not generated. What is that about one being generated. Are they going to give random PINS now for checking the site. Alot of speculation now about what is going to happen. Will it be a one time deal that you have to book during that sesssion? This could be the start of craziness.

Well here is to hoping things will be good for the consumers.

The Disney site really was a pain. I hope this is not the start of more problems.

Diane

mine said "generated" too! I am just trying to get a price difference and it keeps popping up!

I loathe Disney's website. It's pretty to look at, but a nightmare to navigate. It takes forever to find the information you really need. Recently they changed the AP website and it had glitches for days....but there's was no information about it...such as "sorry, we're doing maintenance...it just kept leading you around in a circle.

Happened to met too! I got really excited.............then really disappointed when I couldn't find the PIN anywhere. :(

Some pin code email offers contain a link to book online, using the pin code.

Most of the time, when you click on the link, the pin code is already set, and you just need to type the last name of the person receiving the email.

A few times though, I had to type the pin code in myself.

Perhaps this is the page you are viewing.

I got the same message. I got SOOOO excited. Is everyone so sure they don't have a code?? Has anyone called to check??

I might call and see if I get a chance today?

Denise

I am still hoping for some magical pixie dust to bring me that Free quick serve dining pin (2/28-7/3) :goodvibes

momtwoboys,

Did you call to see if it's attached to your name? I didn't receive the email but the FD pin was there for me - not what I was looking for as we travel in December though.

I kept getting that message as well and while I was on the phone Friday booking a May trip with free dining, Disney Destinations sent me the PIN code for 20/30/40. I would call to see if there is something attached to your name.
