One of our park days will be an NFL game that my husband will want to check out. Do any of the parks have a sports bar?

Considering doing a Mickeys Christmas Party that evening and let him watch the game which is at one. Whats the story on Wide World of sports?

If you are at Epcot, you can slip out the back to the Boardwalk area. They have an ESPN Zone. You won't find anywhere actually in the parks with TVs.

Wide World of Sports is a sports venue and unless there is an activity you want to attend, there will be nothing going on there.

We will be at the Dolphin so the ESPN zone will be awesome. What do they have for kids there to do?

Inside the parks? No. There is noplace to watch television inside any park. (The only exception may be Prime Time Café, but their televisions show old TV clips, not any modern programming.)

Wide World of Sports isn't a bar, its a place for playing sports, not watching them on TV.

He'll have to go to a restaurant or lounge outside the parks.

ESPN (this one is actually ESPN Club, not ESPN Zone) doesn't have anything for kids "to do." They've closed their arcade recently to make way for an ice cream shop.

ESPN Club doesn't take reservations and it can get crazy on football days.

A couple hundred yards, maybe 3 out of EPCOT's International Gateway - Next to Canada - Boardwalk has an ESPN club.

If your going to the christmas party then send him to the Tambu lounge at the Poly. Great place to watch the game and good drinks and food. We did that for the opening pats game last september.

Wheels are turning.... Ohana Character Breakfast, watching game at the Poly then going to Christmas party at four. Question, is there a playground or arcade for our six year old during the game?

I do believe that there is an arcade on the Boardwalk a little ways down from ESPN.

Polynesian closed its arcade in 2014. Not sure if it reopened.

Closed last year. It will be the new home of Ample Hills Creamery.

I don't recall seeing a playground or arcade but they do have Lilo's playhouse which is like a "daycare disney style" with games and activities. There is a cost though.

Lots of people at the Territory Lounge at WL watching the games.

In the parks though, no. (Though it'd be an interesting idea for Epcot and DHS to have a lounge for game watching - I could see them doing a "Sports/Athetics/Fitness" display at the World Showcase with a sports bar at one point. (Sort of like a sports book at Vegas. ;) )

DHS could have a simplified ESPN area

That arcade closed too. A lot of the resorts got rid of the arcades because of some new Florida law regarding gaming machines that was targeted at gambling, but ticket redemption machines fall under it too. They had a lot of those in the resort arcades, so they've been getting rid of them.

I can't speak for the Poly, but most of the resorts have small playground areas for kids.

Monorail to Contemporary? The arcade is still there.

Any sports bars in the Grand Floridian in case we decide to do 1900 park fare breakfast?

The only time I can recall them doing this was for the World Cup at the Odyssey Pavilion at Epcot. They had TVs showing the games and a small beer/snack menu I believe. It's not a bad idea, but TVs could definitely break "the bubble" of the parks.

No, there aren't any sports bars in the Grand Floridian. there's at least one TV at Mizners Lounge. I don't think they are open during breakfast.

Not likely to ever happen.

The only live TV ever shown at WDW was during the most recent World Cup-viewing was available at The Odyssey,"Wonders of Life building" and Restaurantosaurus.

Rose & Crown Pub would be a natural fit for EPL games and the unused Hotel space in Canada would make for a great Sports Bar.

But,again,not likely ever to happen.

If the monorail resorts had their Christmas decorations up by Nov 13th we could kind of monorail around checking it out but the way it looks there is not a high chance of that.

Florida amended the law last year so ticket redemption type arcades could operate but Disney won't return the arcades.
