I'm in! I trying to decide if I should do a PTR or not... I'm a little nervous about the picture posting thing, especially since I'm on the FB group (which is sort of dumb of me, since I've been super active on OTHER boards, and posted pics on THOSE boards...) Urgh. Maybe I'll just live vicariously through others Or maybe I'll make my own and throw caution to the wind

Welcome PBMom! I didn't really want to do another PTR, because sometimes I just feel like I have nothing to talk about and I will lose readers, but then I realize that this is really just about making friends and organizing my own thoughts, so it takes some of the pressure off if you think that way. We are all here to help eachother....so I say go ahead and start one. Post a link on here and we will all come over and say "hi"!

Joining from the October 2013 FB group

We originally were going to stay at AKL but DH & I decided to opt for a family suite at AoA for the extra room.

My DH isn't as crazy about Disney as I am but he likes it more than he lets on. He's quite willing to go and has even suggested buying into DVC at some point in the future.

WELOCME Thanks for checking out my PTR. It isn't much just now, but I'm getting there. You don't know how badly I want to just do a rundown of all my plans and spreadsheets and everything, but I am trying to keep this going for a year....so I'm trying to take it slow. Hope I don't bore you to death

Oh, you should ask D~ how our last Dismeet went! We had had a LONG day of travel and a nightmare of an evening at Downtown Disney when we showed up for the Dismeet. EVERYONE (D~ and her girls, Lidian and her family, and Corrine) showed up exhausted! My family kept whispering to me asking if we could leave now. That is why I am determined to have a better meet with D~ this time. We did NOT have an oppurtunity to "put our best face forward".

Oh yeah....I remember reading about that one Is that you in the front?? Why are you giving us the finger? Not nice oopsi...not nice!

But we have a great picture to prove we met, that that's what counts.

Is this a jab at me because I had two DISmeets in July and didn't get pictures?? I swear I met both Bob and Kristen! I swear!

Yeah, I have to be very careful not to talk about it in front of my DH. He doesn't want to go...thinks it is way too expensive....worries about money all the time. So I am trying to keep it hush hush until I have at least half of it saved up. Then I'll spring the dates and details on him

Hey, maybe I could do both Sept and Oct.....think hubby will let me??? Probably not. I'm sure we can make the meet work...just maybe not try to do the MNSSHP together.



So for those of you that followed along with my previous TRs....sorry to bore you, but there are some new readers that haven't seen my awesome D~ bags. I ordered my first SerendipiD bag before my July trip with my cousin. So I had my Dory Squishy bag for that trip.

And the lanyard with zippered "Mine" seagull pouch

I got lots of compliments on it...

but it was very hot to carry a backpack in July. So I ordered another bag from the lovely and talented Miss D. This one is a crossbody. She calls them the Ultimate Park Bag and it sure is!

It has a zipper pouch with Mickey's hand holding the balloon strings

Inside

I just love both of my bags. I have used the Balloon bag around here a few times, but I can't wait to use it in WDW! Both of them just make me smile when I look at them.

I am pretty sure you are my long lost twin. We have so much in common. I too am 33. My DS also turned 5 in February. I am also planning an Oct. 2013 trip to the World. Our dates might even overlap (mine are up in the air a little). And, I think I read something about spreadsheets and craszy obsessive planning... HELLO...that's SO ME! My honey just went to WDW for the first time last year, and while he isn't a Disney freak like me (YET)...he did enjoy himself and has agreed to another trip. We'll have to work on converting your DH to a Disney fan.

I'm looking forward to reading along as you plan. I just started my own PTR and I know what you mean about taking it slow so it lasts.

Welcome! I will go over to check out your PTR soon. It does sound like we have alot in common. And yes....I love my spreadsheets. I have one going right now for our trip and one for my friend who might be coming with us. Can't wait to get going on them. Just need to hear the final okay from her to really start the planning.
