It's raining here in RI, but it's a cold rain, so I guess we're not far behind you! AAcck! I was just getting into fall! I guess our 12/6 cruise is just in time! I love New England, but man, it gets cold here!

OH! That's terrible, Ann! I have a great dislike for snow. I love vacationing in the winter -- gets me away from the snow and into the warm sun!!!

Snow is great at first but then it keeps comming and comming and won't leave, last year they had to start measuring our storms in "feet' instead of inches" there was no where left to put the snow when you cleared it,, the snow banks were 12 feet high.. it was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

we lived in Minnesota for a year, and the lowest temperature we experienced was 40 below with the wind chill. My car was buried, and had to be dug out........meanwhile, I was in HEAVEN!!!
I just have a thing for snow, and cold gloomy days!!!! I probably like it so much because I haven't had to drive in it. Our kids weren't in school yet, so we could stay home, make snow angels all day long, and drink gallons of hot chocolate!
You are welcome here in Vegas anytime you need a "HEAT" fix!!!

No, you wouldn't last DeAnn, just like we wouldn't last in your heat out there!! The snow is pretty at first, then the plows come around and throw sand and salt down and the snowbanks become big uck piles of brown guck. I live on a cul-de-sac, so when the plowman comes around, he gets a running start and drops all the snow from the circle in front of my driveway. They actually laugh when they see you out trying to shovel the snow again for the umpteenth time.

we didn't get any snow today, (Oh Ann, I do feel bad for you), but it will be down here soon enough!! We're just getting some rain now, but it will be turning white quickly!

Shame on you Jason & Travis~LOL!!! what would MamaRae say to you for taugting us poor Northern girls!!!

Oh Ann...what's that I hear?... The plowman chuckling with glee at the misadventures that he can create for you this year?

While we haven't had snow yet (did have a major ice storm) we had to batten down the hatches today with sustained winds of 65mph and gusts of 89 mph!!! Tipped over numerous semis west of I25.

Sorry to hear you all have started the snow already...but warmer weather awaits mydear...just a few weeks after me!
