My bad.. the accompany promotional materials clearly explain that Pip is a chipmunk. Woops!

I don't know why, but this movie just doesn't appeal to me so far.
I think it is a direct copy of the 1987 non-Disney TV series "The Charmings"...

). I got the soundtrack yesterday (the salesperson actually told me they were SOLD OUT, but then I went and looked for myself and there were two whole shelves of em!).
So far I've listened to the whole score, plus Happy Working Song and Ever Ever After. It's killing me not listening to the other songs, but I didn't want to spoil too much of the movie for myself.
). I saw Enchanted this afternoon and LOVED it. I plan on getting the soundtrack Friday.
And keep an eye out when you do see it! There is a cameo appearance by the girl who orginally did the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid! I thought that was SO cool!!!!! I love those kind of touches in a movie!

Also loved Julie Andrews narrating.
I just got back and loved it.
My favorite song was "That's How You Know" - I would LOVE to see this as a production number in a parade or show or something in the parks. It was simply hilarious. There was an enthusiastic audience in my screening, plenty of "EEEW!"'s whenever a rodent appeared.
I loved the way they worked Jodi Benson and Paige O'Hara into it. (You could even hear "Part of Your World" and "Beauty and the Beast" playing the the background!) I didn't see the voice of Pocahontas, though. I didn't know what she looked liked but I figured I would recognize her voice somewhere but I didn't.Also loved Julie Andrews narrating.
And did anyone catch what restaurant they ate at? Bella Notte.![]()
