I went to Mikes with my little coupon to grab a helium tank for DH's big surprise party (always get them there with a coupon!)
and was magnetically (or something) drawn through the scrap isle as I made my way across the store -
and
The KITS are all 50% off - not that I usually like the kits Mikes has - but this sale INCLUDED the SEI "kits"
I got Granny's Kitchen!
for $13 I just had to!

OH! Some of you don't know I work for a university and so when I say I'm running to the library it is just down the hall from my office! No one cares if we slip out the ads!

but you don't NEED a coupon at my Mikes -
just ask at the register and they hae you sign and add your zip code to a paper - and scan a coupon they have there -
This morning for example with a crabby 1 year old and a 4 year old saying I want candy at 9 am I couldn't find mine in my purse so she just scanned the one they have -
and quess what - I found the one i have while i was a the bank
this is going to be a long week since ds has cheering camp every day right behind where our mikes is

I went to Michaels on Saturday to use my coupon and I saw the SEI page kits on sale, 50% off. I was actually going to use my coupon but I didn't realize they were already on sale! They are regular $50 CDN here and I got them for $25 each! I got the Granny's Kitchen & Aunt Gerti's Garden. I would never pay $50 for those! Holy cow!

I decided to get my money's worth so I came home and scanned all the papers and saved them on my puter for when I do some digital scrapping!

Hey! You should ask your local Michael's if they advertise in any other "local town papers"

We have a Local Lond Island one that not only has the coupons, it usually has page one of the advertisement a week ahead of time, so you can PLAN!

They had the Disney Brass Stencils by plaid on clearance for $1.00!
50% off SEI kits were gone! Only crappy ones left.

Oh, dear, dear, dear! I've been eying those SEI kits but I would NEVER pay full pop for them. Maybe my wallet/bank account will get lucky and nothing will be left tomorrow.....
