OK i just have to say this to some1 another vent

Ok i feel like ive been venting alot to you all lately so i'm sorry about this but this has just been disturbing me

Ok so there is this one girl at my school who had sexs with a guy and she found out she was pregnant keep in mind she only 13 and in the 8th grade then the other day she told alot of people that she took the pills to kill the baby. She is now going around the school bragging about how she killed her own baby. Then the other day one of my friends who isnt after this who is like her best friend bassically started congraulating her for doing this and thinks its so cool. Also did i mention she hasnt even told her mom about this? I'm sorry this really just disturbs me and i had to say it somewhere since everyone is talking about how she did it at school

okay thats sort of a strange thing to vent about...
but i understand if you're upset by it.

first of all, this girl is clearly a numbskull.

she probably took the morning after pill, which basically you can take within 72 hours of becoming pregnant (i believe) and it "kills" the sperminated egg. but at that point it is really just a sperm and an egg, not a baby.
but that depends on your stance on abortion and i don't really want to get into that.

if she's bragging about it, again, she's an idiot and she clearly just wants attention. she's not smart for getting herself into that situation and she's even less smart for bragging about it.

there's really nothing you can do about it, if she's going to be an idiot and brag about it, i don't know what else to tell you other than ignore it and don't let it get to you. it was her stupid choice, and she'll have to live with it.

I completely agree with Caitlin. The girl might not have even been pregnant, and just wanted the extra attention. It's a pathetic attempt at attention, and it's not even good attention that she is getting. Either way, she is being pathetic, and idiotic...neither of which are a good thing.

Just don't contribute to the attention by "gossiping" about it. It just increases the attention that she is getting, even if it is negative.

wow this is just really sad. in california i think they passed a law that says a teenager that has a baby has to tell their parents before they have an abortion. btw did she really kill the baby?

From my personal knowledge (If I am wrong you can blame my school's sex ed) the morning after pill kills off any "little men" that are still "alive" because they can live for like 1 week after intercourse. Also 72 hours isn't necessarily enough time to tell wether you are pregnant or not. Try to not let her bother you, some people just crave attention.

Edit: Morning After Pill is an emergency contraceptive, not a cheap abortion option.
