Does anyone know ... if they do release a dream maker pkg tomorrow as speculated .... (the ZXQT) ... do they go off the same discounted block? meaning .. if they're sold out for AP's there is no chance for any discount?

I just booked AKL standard pool view for $135/night-4 nights-October 21-24! And I was only on hold for 5 minutes!! I used the 877 number that someone posted earlier on this thread, and prepared to wait and wait, and then have to hang up to take DS4 to preschool, but I actually got a human being in 5 minutes!!! I can't believe it!! And no computer glitches!! I can't believe it!!! I used the EWP code, she said there was no BAT code available yet. Couldn't get WL (all they had were the honeymoon suites @ $400/night, no thank you....) like I wanted for DH, but AK will be a very nice alternative...And I am going to try back tomorrow for the BAT code for WL. I can't believe it!!!


I want to thank everyone on this thread that has been calling and posting information. I admit, I have been lurking. With two boys to get ready in the morning for school, it's all I can do to sneak up to the computer and check this thread. I really, really appreciate all the work you all have done on this thread...

edited to add this....I inquired about POR, and she said standard was available for $84/night..Nothing at POFQ

Dznydreams, there is availability for October. It says it on the email at the bottom. It says there are "other" rates available for 9/30-10/30 at selected resorts at a higher price than what is quoted for 10/30 to Dec. It just means that the rates on the email are the prices for this timeframe. I guess folks got so excited, they never noticed the information further down. There are blackouts for 11/10-13 and 11/23-27 which says there is NO availability for these dates.

I waited over 50 minutes and her computer went down. She told me she'd try to call me back. She wasn't very informative. Said only the AKL and Contemp. were available. Didn't even have my dates yet. Do you think she is wrong? I hope so.

I called 4 times between 7 and 7:20. The first 2 times I could not get a circuit. The 3rd time I got a nice man who said NOTHING new was in the system. (no BAT or EWP) The 4th call the woman was polite but evasive. First she said nothing was available. When I questioned her, she said no concierge for my dates at Poly(12/3-12/7) but the code was good. Then I asked for the AKL concierge during our stay 12/7-12/12 and got that.

I called back using another line in the house and entering in a different phone #. I got through in 4 minutes even though I had been on hold on my other line for nearly 20 minutes. What's up with that? The good news is that I was able to get a discounted rate at the Poly GV in October for $229/night + taxes. I didn't think about asking for other resorts since I got what I wanted right away.

Too bad there isn't enough time to go back to sleep before I have to go to work.

I just got through to someone. Here's the weird thing. I dialed the exact same number with the same prompts, and stayed on my first phone while calling on the second one. I got through on the SECOND phone and was STILL ON HOLD on the first. Definitely something weird with their phone system.

Now I am really scared -- My reservation in in HOLD STATUS. They can't get to it. Earlier this morning, I had a CM who was able to get the AP rate for me, and as she was getting my confirmation number, the computer froze. Now my reservation is out there and no one can get it.

Am I going to lose my AP rate????? I am just about to go crazy!!!!!!! This is really bad! The person I was on the line with is working with Guest Services to see what they can do to unfreeze it.

We are going on a tour of DISNEY.

Called 1-407 around 7:30 and was told to call back in 1 hour...system down. Didn't like the sound of that.
Called back immediately to 1-800# and got through immediately to Garrett who was exceptional!
Had to break my stay (10/3-10/14) into two ressies in order to get discount for entire trip. We have 2rms at ASM for 11nights=1,716.00 which works out to $78/night/tax is included.

So, I'm bad in math, I guess values are $69 with AP

Thank you everyone on these boards! My original ressie was $2709.00. You guys saved my family close to $1,000.00!!!

I called and waited 20 minutes and was told Pop Century was $69.00. I told him that I thought everybody was getting it for $49.00 and he said yes it is $49.00 so I got 3 rooms.

Well, WL is out of the picture now. They only had availability for 3 of our nights, which I could have booked and then switched resorts, but it would have put us into Holiday Season with much higher rates. Therefore, we switched to POFQ, our 2nd favorite for $88/night with tax. The bright side is...we already paid most of our WL room off so POFQ is all paid off with a lot of $$ left over for food/souvenirs.

Someday we'll get to WL, just not meant to be this year.
