OK, I guess I will start the Waiting for OCT-DEC AP rate thread

Patricia Gail just called me back. She was confident that they have me all squared away now. Two reservation numbers, but that is ok with me! I saved $770. Hopefully I can get that other room changed tomorrow and save another $100.

Thanks to everyone! It was funny that Patricia called me just minutes after you all sent pixie dust my way!

this is an extreme level of frustration I am feeling now!
First I thought okay nevermind, I'll scratch thanksgiving and book for a long school holiday weekend Oct. 15- 19 th and then I cross-referenced mousesavers and realized - TO MY HORROR!!!!_ that those dates are considered REGULAR season at the deluxes!

I have the same situation. I have Beach Club (AAA discount) booked for 10/5-10/10, it has been sold out for these dates for weeks. No AP discount was available which is what I expected.

can i ask what your AAA rate is?
i'm going the same dates and also found out the AP rates weren't there .. but was thinking of going with AAA ... (i know .. should've thought of it sooner) ... do you know if i could still get it if they're booked?

got a nice CM but her comp. has crashed 2 times and we haven't been able to even get started on a ressie!!!

Question.... I hope someone can answer it... I called a few days ago and the Yacht Club is ALL BOOKED for the days I am going, does that mean they won't offer discounts for those days at all since there are no more rooms available??

I'd say call again, only because if someone else had a ressie at YC and then changed to a diff resort for a discount...... then that opens rooms, correct?

talking to a wonderful CM who is doing everything in her power to help me! Not looking too good though.

Call again -never hurts however the answer to your question I believe is theoretically yes. If you called regarding a discount and they say booked it typically is however this AP rate just came out so I don't know what you specifically requested.

No, I am saying the hotel is totally booked (no more rooms available)... I know I tryed an e-mail code and they said they were all booked (I think they may have meant the rooms for the codes are all booked AND there are no more rooms available at the hotel)..

I don't have an AP, I am waiting for the code anyone can use... I hope I can get a discount..

Don't forget -- if they say there can't get you the AP rate for your stay, have them look night by night. That is what I had to do. Ended up with the AP rate for 6 of my 7 nights.

Now if that darn disneyworld.com website would come up so I could see with my own eyes that my reservation is ok, I'd feel ok.

**going to get another cup of coffee, be right back**

I have had operators tell me the hotel is all booked, only to land a reservation a week later. Keep trying every week or so. Sometimes the resort will hold a block of rooms and release it later. Also, people cancel their resevations all the time. There is a good chance you might be able to get something.

i asked about this and was told that whatever rooms are offered with a discount today are the same as tomorrow. so whatever is being taken right now takes away from the room only rates.

and if something isn't available now ... it won't be tomorrow :(
That's good to hear. We had ressies at WL for October, but no AP rates. I wanted to try to see about getting room only rate tomorrow, but it sounds like that is out is out of the picture, too.

The good news is I did get the Poly with an AP rate today (for the same time frame). WL AAA Woodsveiw is almost exactly the same as the AP rate at the Poly for the GV. At least I'm not paying rack, and getting more for my money than the AAA at WL.

So, here we come Poly!

Do the rates you are all getting with the AP rates include the CR Tower room? I'm just curious. I don't have AP but so I am patiently waiting for the general public code to come out. But I read somewhere on these posts that the code tomorrow might be the same as the AP rates.

What time does CRO or WDWTC open for phone calls in the AM?

I GOT EM I GOT EM!!! YEA!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I am resort hopping and got 4 nights at pop for a total of 219 which is 54.75/night w/tax and 5 nights at All star Sports for 277 night which is 55.40/night w/ tax.

Saved me 276 and some change!!!!! WOO HOOO :Pinkbounc :bounce:

OK, here's a question to think about. If I call back tomorrow and inquire about BAT (public) rates on the same room that I am holding a ressie on right now (AKL-$139/night-pool view), will I be able to just change the code on that room? I know that the rate will be a little higher, but I am only buying an AP for the room discount. I guess I will just have to call and see tomorrow.....

Rahwest: My AAA rate is $355.50 for the Beach Club (waterview). It is only a 10% discount off rack rates, better than nothing. I booked this ressie in April so not sure if AAA discount would still be available, would not hurt to call and inquire. I had no idea that October would be such a popular time to visit WDW. I am now hearing that most of the Epcot Resorts sell out during October becasue of Food & Wine Festival.
