OK, how many of you are going the week before Easter?

I'm thrilled at the new longer hours that week, but now am nervous about how crowded it will be.

How many from here are going?

We'll be there, and are also very nervous about the crowds. We've always gone in slow times before, and have no idea what to expect. I actually felt a little better when the hours were shorter than usual, thinking that meant the crowds would be smaller.

Our plan is to use EMH almost every day, get through as much as possible, then go to the pool.

Does anybody have any experience with the parks being open late during the holiday week? Do the crowds thin out late, or stay packed until almost closing?

We will be there also. Eight people total. I usually don't go at such crowded times but we are going with my niece and that is her spring vacation.

We will be there too...Me, DH, and DS...staying at the Swan. We have gone this time of year several times and we love it. Yes, it's a bit crowded but take advantage of EE if you can, tour the EE park till noon and then head to another non EE park. It's amazing how much you can get done in those morning hours!

The weather is amazing this time of year too...warm but not that hot hot humidity! Have a wonderful time all and let's all wear our lime green ribbons so we can say Hi

We will be there, 4 of us, at CBR. This morning it's windy, snowing and cold here in southern Wisconsin. We can hardly wait til Saturday!

We'll be there. Me, DW,DS10, DD8 & DS4. We also were just hit with a spring snow, rain , sleet storm and are looking forward to the warmer weather in Florida!!!!

Can't wait to get on the road Friday. Disneyworld, Here we come!!!!!!

This will be our first time at DW during spring break. We usually head down around Memorial day.

Were not to worried about the crowds. We just want to have a great trip.

Our youngest son is a thrill chaser and ready to head on some of the bigger rides for the first time this year.

How many of you are going the week AFTER Easter? We are and canNOT wait!!

I keep hearing about more and more school systems separating their break from Easter.

Last year, the week after Easter was reported to be outrageously busy, but we were there and it was great!!!

Can't WAIT to hit the road on Good Friday.....hope to see some of you there! Wear those ribbons!!

We (DH, DD10, DD8, DD2, and I) will be arriving Easter afternoon! I must say that I'm pretty worried about the crowds too. Mostly because this is our first time and have no idea what to expect.

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but I have planned to hit the EE for every park, but Monday I plan hitting MK. Do you think this is crazy? I just can't make myself wait until THURSDAY to visit the Kingdom!!!

Hi Ruthie!

Last spring break, we waited till the end of the week to hit MK too, and it wasn't too bad! And we heard that other than Easter Sunday itself, the MK was managable! So i know what you mean - not sure i can wait too long either. ..we too, may be there on Monday!

Although we encountered quite a bit of rain the weds and thurs after Easter, we still managed to see and do all we wanted. It was truly the best trip to Disney we've had, yet!

So don't worry, just enjoy each moment and remember you're on vacation!!

We'll be there the week after also - arriving Saturday before Easter. We're crazy enough to try MK on Easter morning early entry. Figure we'll go back a couple more times after that, so whatever we don't get to do, we'll catch later.

I'm figuring - plan for it to be incredibly crowded, then hopefully be pleasantly surprised that you got to do anything at all!

We also will be there week following Easter. My wife & I are both teachers and that is our spring break. I am also noticing that more and more schools are having spring break seperate from Easter week. Hopefully we'll notice the difference this year and the parks won't be so crowded. I did notice the parks will be open late that week!!!

we leave friday morning. can't wait. we've never been during the holiday season before, so , I really don't know what to expect. I'm thinking it will be pretty crowded, but manageable with EE. can't wait for some florida sun. yaaahooo!

I am very worried about the crowds. We may just do Universal...this way..even if its crowded..we're still have the FOTL. We don't have to wait in line...
