ok help me make my decision

We are already doing the gold plan in Sept. Right now we have it booked for CSR. We've never been there but it does appeal to us. If the fairytale 7 for 5 package comes out...I figured it would cost us a little over $3300.
here's my dilemna....we have always wanted to stay at the poly...but it has just been too expensive. Well, with the 7 for 5 ...I figured it would cost us about 4200 for a gv room at the poly on the gold plan. The gold plan is not negotiable..that is definitely decided. $4200 is a little high but I figure with the 7 for 5 we'll be saving quite a bit where as at CSR were only saving about $500. We are not wealthy by any means but do like to splurge a little on vacation.
Do we splurge and stay at the poly or save and just stay at CSR.
What are your thoughts??

These are both great resorts. Please consider how much time you'll be spending at the resort, and take it from there. Also with the Poly with convenience to MK, CR, and GF is also a factor.

Stay at the CSR - that way from a budget view you will be closer to your next WDW trip!

We absolutely love the Poly, and find it worth the splurge. The monorail, the island atmosphere, the tiki torches at night, the beach, the castle view, the wonderful cm's, the great restaurants, just fabulous!! As you can see from my signature, this is our second favorite resort, after AKL!

I voted for the Poly. If the 7/5 deal is making the Poly affordable then go for it. It is a beautiful hotel and well worth the difference with some of the deals they offer. We had friends that stayed at the GF last year during the fairy tale package since that was the only time it was within there budget.
