OK Fess up how many?

At this point we bought one box. I do not like any GS cookies so I can pass them by very easily. DH is a sucker for a little kid selling things. They get him every time. The reaon we have only bought one box so far is that DH has only walked by one stand outside of a store at this point. If we see another one tonight we will be at two boxes.

I bought two boxes of thin mints for my dad; I don't like chocolate & mint and he LOVES them, so I had to ;)

I would love to buy some! I havent seen any while out yet and our neighborhood doesnt have any little girls selling any.:sad1:

Thin mints is what I'm after.:thumbsup2

Same here! I haven't seen any girl scouts. :(

We always buy Thin Mints at least. I usually buy 3 or 4 boxes, haven't seen any GS tho so nothing yet. It's coming soon tho, my co-workers DD usually sells so I buy from him. :) I used to buy the lemon cookies but didn't like them last time and I used to buy the pnut butter ones too but they weren't that great last time either. Thin Mints tho, those are like heaven so I buy 3 or 4 boxes of just those. :) Pop 'em in the freezer and they are good to go! I love them with vanilla ice cream. :)

Zero so far and I'm hoping to keep it that way as I'm dieting at present. Sigh.

However, if I see a table with some Trefoils on it and am having a bad day, I take no responsibility for my actions. :p

Not loving them lately. The recipes have changed - the lemon ones used to be delicious- but now- eh with an aftertaste.
Is there any "new" cookie this year. We did like the dulce de leche ones last year.

So far no girl scouts coming around here. I don't know if it hasn't started or if someone said "no selling in neighborhoods". Last year we had 5 girls come to the door and I bought 2 boxes from each.

This year I am hoping to buy NONE. But if someone comes knocking I'll buy.
Java - I think I know roughly where you're located based on previous posts (and the fact that I'm from that section of the state), the part of council that you are located in sold cookies in the fall. The northern parts of the council are selling now.

Girl scout cookies are only sold this time of the year.
Nope, sold twice a year depending on the council. And due to all the mergers, our council sold in the fall and the spring. It was all dependent on the previous council you were part of.

I bought three from one of the ds friends . I got tagalongs, trefoils and samoas. If I had an actual order sheet to look at I would have probably gotten more. Hopefully one of the troops will have a booth set up in front of wal mart.

DD stopped doing GS this year but I sought out her friend's mom and just gave her my order yesterday. We bought 7 boxes because we don't like to share boxes! They last a long time for me because I only eat 1 or 2 per day. I like the ice cream too!

I have bought 4 boxes (2 from 1 friend's DD and 2 from another).

Out of those 4 boxes I have only had 2 cookies. :cool1:

We bought 5 boxes- 2 Samoas (my absolute favorite), 2 Tagalongs, and 1 Lemon Creme. I think all we have left is the Lemon Creme- the others don't stay around too long!!

So far we just bought a box of thin mints that we keep in the freezer and crush on top of ice cream. :thumbsup2 The boxes just seem to be getting smaller ever year, though.

I am buying zero. Last year I bought two cases (24 boxes). I also gained 20 lbs. I've taken 11 lbs back off so I'm staying away from those evil evil cookies this year.

Okay so dd and I bought 12 boxes. Six of her fav and six of my fav and all are in the freezer. :lovestruc

But since I am a GS Leader & troop Cookie mom I have 576 boxes sitting in my dining room waiting to be sold this weekend at our booth sales! :lmao:

Let me tell you when you have to lug them around - they lose their appeal very quickly. :sad2:

Zero so far but that is only because I haven't seen any girl scout's selling them yet. I really want a couple boxes of thin mints.

6 boxes.....2 for the house & the other 4 go the ER where DM works.

None.. The price has gone way up - and the quality has gone way down..:(
