When my DS was younger (6 or 7) he thought my name was Honey 'cuz that's all he ever heard DH call me! That was a long time ago now...I haven't been Honey in awhile!

As a kid I often get asked if it is short for Victoria, especially by teachers, who would insist that it must be a nickname and that if I asked my parents they were sure my birth certificate would read Victoria. Which was a little frustrating as a kid.

Whenever, I tell someone my name they always ask if it ends with an I or Y and always seemed surprised that it is IE. My Mom thought it was nice to end in ie since both her and my sister's nicknames end in ie, (Ginnie and Debbie.) And it is often mispelled, even by close friends!
