OK DVC'ers what is your real first (or nick) name...

You know what the most surprising thing about this thread to me is?? A lot of people that I had assumed were a woman are really men and visa-versa!

My name is Jerry and I am a woman. When I originally set up my name here I only wanted a couple questions answered for a 'trip of a lifetime' my daughter and I were taking. I thought people would be more likely to help an 'old' newcomer. Little did I know that I would become hooked, buy into DVC and start taking a couple trips a year. Thanks to all of you for the wealth of information and :lmao: I had here over the years!

Hi, I'm Julie :wave2:

Full name is Julie Anne, but never cared for that. The only one that ever called my that was my dad.

My friends call me Jules. Mummy to my 2 wonderful DSs & Hon to DH.

My wife's name is Julie (known as Jules to family & close friends), and my daughter's name is Anne (with an e - just like you)! :)

What a GREAT thread! Rob - Thanks for starting. Just found this, this morning. We leave EARLY Sun morning for the World. You all know - so much to do, so little time and haven't had the time to read the posts.

I'm pleased to make the acquaintance of all of you - now if only I can remember...

I'm known to almost everyone as Diane. Dear husband (Dillon on this board) is Richard or Rich. He calls me Di or when I'm not hearing him, Diane Elise - must think I hear better that way. Long-time older family friends call me Diney-Lou.

To Laurabearz and Rob may I commend you on your decision to quit smoking. Our daughter was born with cystic fibrosis, a genetic lung disease. Your lungs are so precious.... your must take care of them. I wish both of you success.

Hello to all!

My family name is Man.

My parents named me Older.

Of course if you believe that, I'd like to sell you some beach-front property in Arizona!

In reality, I'm FRED!

Colleen here! My husband is Bill. He created the login, I became the DIS addict and just never got around to creating my own. Probably confuse a lot of people when I talk about my DH! :butterfly

Hello!
I'm Elizabeth. Really. The WHOLE name, not some little piece. Our DVC guide has taken to calling me Liz, which I will tolerate only because I REALLY wanted to buy those points. ;)

DH is "oogieboogieman" and can usually be found lurking on the Photography board. Once in awhile he will post, but only in that forum.

We have a DS12 who we refer to as "Lovey", but we try not to post his real name on the boards.;) :)

That's kind of like me - CHRISTOPHER - but so many feel they have some right to call me Chris...yet another reason why my user name reflects my preferred nickname - stopher. Any time I go to a conference or some function where you get one of those nametags to wear - and the registrar pre-prints Chris on it - I ALWAYS add the last part to complete my name. :rotfl2: Shortening it to Chris bothers me, but stopher doesn't. Go figure.

BTW - my DD's middle name is Elizabeth. :)

My friend's DS is Christopher and she HATES when someone calls him "Chris". She chose the name Christopher for him because she loved the name. The WHOLE name! :rotfl2:

When I was younger I went through all sorts of incarnations of "Elizabeth" but I never really liked any of them. Now I just use the whole thing and it works fine. ;)

My real first name is ..... Brack Jr :goodvibes

Thanks, Rob!! Great idea!

Well, my real name is mom, Susan, Sue or Susie depending on how old I was when we first met.

Call the DH Laxdad and the lacrosse player in the family, Laxlad. Together, we are Laxfam! My tag has nothing to do with the airport or my strictness as a mom!;)

My niece is a big lacrosse player, so I figured your name out in a minute. She plays for Univ of Richmond.

Thankyou! Most people don't realize that lax is lacrosse abreviated. I usually have to explain. How great that she is playing at that level. I have to admit, I am puzzled with women's lacrosse. It just doesn't seem right that you can't hit em!:lmao:

I'll never tell  .....

But my screen name came from my first post asking if I should consider buying at my age! As if!

My real name is Heather. I do have a couple of nicknames but they're used by very few people and require explanations. :cool1:
