Ok....do you think I have any recourse regarding tix question? DVC AP

Hi,
On Sept 25th my fastpass window opened so I called on the 24th to buy tickets.
I called DVC to buy my DVC AP. They could not use my Disney vacation account, so they
referred me to ticketing.
Ticketing could not access my Disney Vacation Account and they had me transferred to the
account people.

I made it crystal clear I need the DVC AP and will just buy and use my account for my cruise if necessary.

CM said NO....just buy the 5 day tix that you will need for your thanksgiving trip and upgrade
to DVC AP when you get there.
OK so I did
Now price went up and I would have just purchased AP that day with Credit card had she not assured me I could just change it when at park

Now price went up do you think they have any recollection of my phonecalls and what CM told me to do.
I called and they said to talk to guest services when I arrive.

Any chance they will honor old price?
Or do you think I am just wasting time on line

Nope, I think it's a waste of time trying to get them to honor the old price. They won't be able to sell you the old ticket.
 
I doubt they will honor the old prices under your circumstances. If you don't need to use them during Christmas and Easter you could get the gold ones and it is only a $20 difference.
 
Thanks....such a bummer. I guess I'm slightly lucky because while I am going on next trip during Passover which is end of april next year
so I am not in prime time. And next xmas my pass would have expired if I activate for thanksgiving.
But In the future I travel at peak times and this will change how I use my DVC...:-(

I would email guest relations with the details and ask for them to call you. They may not be able to do anything but you never know.
