OK dgaston! Its ALL Your Fault!!!

That $20.03 rate that they are having at the Downtown Disney
Marriot makes things so VERY tempting. I have been looking
around this past few weeks trying to figure out SOME way to
get to WDW this summer.

We would have to drive (don't know that I could survive THAT
with my 4 and DH! ). And maybe we would just buy 3 day
hoppers (we have one day left from our last trip.) but that
would mean that we would come home with no days left. Hate
that feeling. Since we have started going to WDW in 1996 we
have always come home with 1 day - I felt like it was my
guarantee to get back.

The $20.03 rate is only good for Sun-Thurs. But I'll bet I could find another good deal for the other days. Couldn't I?

The hardest part right now is trying to figure out a date that
would work for all of us. First we have to think about Swim
Season (Ann is coaching again.) And then we have to think
about the work and back to school schedules for Michelle and
Ann.

But I was thinking of making some ressies. I can always cancel
them, right?

Just called the DD Mariott and found out that this rate does not start until August 10. And it is pre-paid and non-refundable. So there goes any cancellations. And I have to check on the girls school schedules and when they want to be back to school.

So this has dampened my excitement a bit. But what will be, will be, right?

OK, I won't tell you about the clean rooms, and the fun manager's reception, and the enights, and ...
I booked the Hard Rock for Friday and Saturday for $125 at the entertainment rate. I know that's not cheap, but boy will DH be surprised. He only knows about the Courtyard.

This bug gets especially bad when you have AP's and see the low rates!

We're driving at Christmas from New England to WDW--it can be done without murdering children or DH LOL.

I believe Sat night at the Courtyard was 67. per night with AAA in Aug.

In December, we've rented a home in Windsor Palms. My oldest is bringing his significant other (soon to be DF I think) and my brother is bringing his family from CA. What a crew that will be--we'll look for you on the Boardwalk, or by the International Gateway.

Muffy...just reading this thread...we will be at the Dolphin Dec 26, 27, 28 and then back to our DVC on the 29 thru 3....maybe we will see each other....
