Hey guys would like some opinions please! I plan on a quick 3 day trip with my DD this year. We were in WDW last year as well for a week. Now I would go every year and will give it my best shot but some of the trips will only be for a couple of days where as others for a week. Do you think it's worth getting the AP? I've heard the savings can be so good that even the years you can't take an extended trip it's worth it. (That DH of mine actually wants to go someplace different-he's going to "force me" to go to Hawaii!) but my WDW addiction beckons! Thanks for your opinions!

Don't forget the deep room discounts can cover the cost of the pass.

check out what the savings would be for your resort and add that to your park hopper pass to see which one is cheaper- we always get the ap because it saves us so much each year we go

Thanks guysI knew the Dis would come through!

Keep in mind that rooms with AP discounts are limited in number and may not be available at the times you want to visit. Disney offers AP rates when rooms aren't filling quickly enough at rack rate. Sometimes the "code" discounts are as good or almost as good as AP discounts.

Breakeven on an AP usually falls around 8 days. So, short trips and all, if you think you will get more than 8 days in then the AP is a good idea.

Do you use your AP for anything else? Using other things included with AP's besides park admissions can make the pass pay for itself far faster than you realize.

Resort room discounts, restaurant discounts, shopping discounts, Alamo car rental discounts, theme park parking fee exemption, etc. all add up in more savings when you use them.

Wow there was a lot I didn't know. I think I'll get it and see how it works over the next year. Thanks again and have a great weekend.
