Ok, so I'm getting ready to wake up my dd4 to get ready for her first day at preschool! It's only for 2 and 1/2 hours but still, I'm nervous and excited for her.
She seems ready and excited. She is a little scared. Last night she kept saying "I don't wanna go!" while smiling.
Her cousin goes there too so I'm hoping that will help a little. They're also having a halloween party and class pictures today, so it won't be a typical day. I'm so hoping she doesn't get teary eyed when I leave. I don't know if I can handle that. I've still got those post partum hormones going on!
I'm not sure I'M ready for this! Old enough for school? Say it ain't so!
Wish us luck!

Chances are she will be fine even if there are some tears on the first day. I've had that first day with four of my children and it's not easy. I used to tell my kids that I'd be home cleaning the toilet while they were at preschool.
Kind of took the glamour away from what they were missing. Of course I really went out and had fun while they were gone, but they didn't need to know that.

(But still secretly sad that she is growing up on me!
